Raspberry Zinger Herbal Tea from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: ?????63 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Sep. 1st, 2015
I am not a fan of the Zingers in general - but raspberry is better than red or Lemon. They all smell great - but they just don;t taste all that wonderful to me.
Very sour/tart raspberry flavor with an herbal/green note.
Royal Blend from Fortnum & Mason
Style: Black Tea – Region: Blend73 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Aug. 20th, 2015
Fortnum & Mason teas always bring back good memories of trips to London with my father years ago. Royal Blend is a strong one - less strong than, say, Irish Breakfast, but a black tea blend for sure with a tannic aroma and a pleasant "wake up" bite. I like this tea very much and it stands up to milk or cream & sugar ...

Style: Assam – Region: Assam, India63 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5

Tea Forte is all about packaging and presentation. That said - the actual teas are pretty darned good and their English Breakfast (I got it is part of a variety pack) is just fine. Brews up quickly and RICH and dark - you can get 2 maybe even 3 (although the 3rd will be weaker) infusions from one "elegant sachet".

Earl Grey from Tea Forte
Style: Earl Grey Tea – Region: Blend60 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 2/5
Aug. 19th, 2015
I loathe Earl Grey - but that cool little sachet makes it all worthwhile. (Not?). Smells of Bergamot (Duh! It's Earl Grey) and steeps up strong and you can easily get 2 infusions per sachet. Pricey but if you have an earl grey lover in the family Tea Forte products make a nice, classy gift. There are many other TF...

I loathe Chai and this one (now at all Starbucks who bought out Teavana some time ago) is no different. Blargh!
That said, if you like Chai - and Cinnamon/Nutmeg-y flavors you might like this.
I can't stand it.
Lemon Ginger from Yogi Tea
Style: Wellness Tea / Medicinal Tea – Region: Blend67 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Apr. 15th, 2015
It's not bad! I have not tried it iced, but hot with or without sweetener it's fine - especially if you have a cold or allegies. Not overly gingery and a bit of a lemon "blast" at first - but it grew on me. Just the right punch of gingery-goodness.
Inexpensive and bagged for convenience
Lady Grey from Twinings
Style: Fruit Black Tea – Region: Blend63 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Mar. 4th, 2015
I HATE Earl Grey - and Twinings is no exception - but Lady Grey I can somehow tolerate. Maybe it's the lemon mixed with the bergamot? Anyhow this one smells way better than it tastes and you do NOT want to add milk to it. I had it both with and without Splenda to see what it would be like. Meh.

I have no issues with this STRONG black tea - that stands up well to sweetener and/or milk (I never put milk nor cream in tea but if you do this is a good one). Traditional and smooth-tasting and brews up DARK in seconds. You can easily get 2-3 infusions from a bag. Inexpensive and available at supermarkets. Not a ...

First off, this is a tisane - there is no tea in this blend. It is also caffeine free and very fruity with a fair shot of peppermint. Definitely well suited for iced tea. Sweetener optional. Not a big fan (as i tend to avoid mint) but a good and inexpensive choice from Stash. Worth a try.

Very nice - i like this one - comes in loose and sachets (not bags - I don't think) and I tried it in a sachet form. very nice aroma and easy to drink with or without sweetener. It is caffeinated but not like a "Lipton Black" - much more mellow. Not as good as a straight Darjeeling (first flush, baby!) but a good so...

I like Harney & Sons and I like some of their Darjeeling (loose and bagged) and this one is no exception. Inexpensive (Moderately priced) and easy to brew in bag form. Relatively mild (benign) and can stand with a longer steeping time. I love Darjeeling so this is a good portable option.

Wow does this have caffeine in it or what? Dark and Black - brews up quickly and easy to find everywhere that carries Starbbucks. I usually opt another Tazo blend to this - but if it was this or Lipton? I'd take Awake for sure. Very strong black tea.

People just love this one - but for some reason, I don't. Too floral and ascerbic and weirdly tart for me. But my 9 year old digs it iced - and Starbucks serves it in vast quantities.
I like Tazo's Green and the old-formula "Om" a bit better.
White Christmas (Loose) from Harney and Sons
Style: Flavored White Tea – Region: Blend77 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Nov. 21st, 2014
This tea is now available for Christmas (2014) through the Harney & Sons Catalog 9and website). Subtle almond/fruity with a lovely aroma, brews up dark and quickly (it's a black tea blend). Good for wintertime with or without sweetener (no milk).

Free in my office circa 2014. This "decaf" black tea with a hefty dose of citric acid (lemon juice?? I think not.) is available and drinkable but I would not go out of my way for it. We also have Bigelow's "Classic" green tea in the office. It's a step above Lipton-kick-your-ass black, but that's about it. No big w...

Amazed how good this cheap ($2.99 for a box of 24 bags) bagged grocery-store tea is. Not nearly as good as the Republic of Tea's version - but much less money and perfect for what I needed it for (A local PTA meeting). Stash teabags are perfect when you need to provide tea bags for a crowd and offer a decent quality ...

So surprised by how good this tea is for the cheap, cheap price (A box of 24 bags was $2.99 in my local supermarket). Very light & mild - innocuous flacvor - and I needed a quick fix for a parent/teacher meeting - so this was perfect. Not gourmet, not fancy, not a holy grail - but for a cheap teabag it's one of the b...

Not as good as the pineapple one (my 9 year old's fave) or the blackberry one - but if you like peach (I sometimes don't if it tastes synthetic) this is a good, fruity choice. Excellent iced with or without sweetener. This is a tisane (herbal blend) there is NO tea in it.

Blackberry Mojito Green Tea from Teavana

I love this tea - fruity (berry notes) and a hint of mint. Excellent iced - no need to sweeten - but I sometimes add a bit of splenda. A terrific summer treat. So popular now that Starbucks makes a "clone" using sugary syrups. I like to brew it myself at home from the Teavana store (pricey stuff). Even my kid will...

I got this in a "Silky Sachet" in an upscale restaurant. It has a very strong red-berry/pomegranate aroma which fades upon steeping. I liked this one - surprisingly - and I did add 1 packet of Splenda to it.
Also would be good iced, I imagine.
Mango Ceylon from Republic of Tea

I like the convenience of RoT's round brown tea bags - and Mango Ceylon is a fruity, good-tasting choice - but I much prefer the ginger peach. Makes a good iced tea.
