The aroma is very rich, rich and chocolaty with notes of malt and earthiness. It reminds me of tea mixed with milk chocolate. Once brewed there is more of a 'tea' aroma than chocolate. The liquid is richy earthy and ties the pu erh in nicely with the black tea and chocolate.
The taste is sweet and very robust. The ...

This Earl Grey tea bag was used to make my London Fog at a local coffee shop. If you are near Elizabethtown, PA, you need to stop in at folklore coffee and company. (I used lower case letters because that is what they use) I had never been and I am so glad I did. One, cool place and two, I learned about a London Fo...

A delightful tea that was very easy to appreciate, but had a lot of depth when I paid more attention to it. Thank you to my parents for choosing this tea and giving me a sample!
Dry leaf, which is relatively finely broken, is mildly but very pleasantly aromatic, suggesting a gentle black tea. The smell of the dry ...

The aroma of this tea is a fantastic blend of the different ingredients in this tea, no one aroma is dominant and they are well balanced. It is nothing short of exotic. The brewed tea is equally delicious blending floral, citrus, saffron, and frankincense.

Smells great - but had an unpleasant bitter aftertaste - even moreso than other mid-grade bagged black teas that i have tried. Meanwhile, the pineapple scent was delightful - too bad ot does not taste as good as it smells. Steeps quickly and brews-up dark!

Dec. 2nd, 2013
This was a unique tea, somewhat subtle and subdued, and a bit of an acquired taste. I found that it had great complexity and grew on me. According to FashionistaTea, it's a blend of Nilgiri and Yunnan, and the Yunnan character is definitely evident--I don't know as much about Nilgiri teas to identify any flavor chara...

I've had this tea long ago, way before I created RateTea, but I couldn't remember it well enough to review it. I recently had the opportunity to try it again and write a proper review.
This is way ahead of Lipton's tea bags. The dry leaf is moderately aromatic, with some of the qualities of high-grown teas like Da...

I have been trying to drink more herbal blends and lessen my caffeine intake. This tea was an attempt to do that. I will cut to the chase, it didn’t work. I will say that I did taste berry and citrus notes in this. As for hibiscus, when brewed I could smell it, and I guess now I can say I tasted it because I can’t ...

This tea had the rooibos taste with a little chocolate, little mint added. I can't say I could detect the vanilla. It was good, it did resemble a thin mint cookie. It wasn't 'heaven' per se, but I enjoyed it.

Even though I am not from the UK, I drink my tea as a lot do there-cream and sugar. Since drinking this tea 5 years ago or so, it has won my heart. It is my stable go to basic black tea bag tea. I will start by saying that I usually like Twinings Tea. I mean, how can you not Love Twinings, the Author of 50 Shades seems to, and they have been doing tea for a long time. Nov. 22nd, 2013
I sampled this from a friend's house, a very fresh box that we newly opened, and I disliked it, so I know the issue was the quality of the tea rather than freshness.
This is a rather innocuous, although boring tea. The flavor is pleasant but the aroma is weak and muddled. Brews a clear light yellow color.

This was my morning tea of choice this AM. Since I try to get my caffeine in before noon, I really went for it this morning with a strong black tea. My box is almost gone. I enjoyed this tea. I tend to favor English Breakfast. Tazo doesn't disappoint me. Nice tea I can count on to 'awake' me just as stated. I steep for 3 mins. I take with cream and a scant of sugar. I brew bags at home, since I can usually buy a whole box for the price Starbucks want to charge me for one cup at the store. So, this is ...

I do not like the taste of Tetley. No matter if I steep it for 1, 2, or 3 mins-it doesn't matter. I hate the comparison of steeping grass clippings, since I have never done so, I feel it is not a fair comparison. However, that is all I can think of, to compare the taste to. I used to buy Lipton to have on hand when...
