Cheap!!!! And convenient. Not a holy grail but I love Jasmine teas and this one is good in a pinch. (Bagged.)

Organic Spring Jasmine from Mighty Leaf Tea

80 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5

Really, Alex? I love this one - maybe I am just a noob - but I used to get this at a local coffee shop in the morning and I just LOVED it. Mild green flavor and a huge bag size. I also like the Green Tea Tropical (Which is more like straight fruit).

Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: Blend

80 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

A very tasty tea with fruity notes and smells great in the bag and while steeping. No sweetener needed. A fave for sure! (But a bit pricey). NOT grassy - very fruity and not so green.

I live this but not as much as some of the otther ROT fruit-teas. I love the green grassy notes and smooth drinkability especially over ice. Smells fruity, berry-like and sweet. Fun to try.

Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: India

60 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5

I liked Tealuxe's teas when I went to the now closed location in NYC. Lady Londonderry was a black tea with a hint of berry flavor. Enjoyable and smells great before and during brewing.

Picture of Earl Grey Decaffeinated

Earl Grey Decaffeinated from Twinings

Style: Earl Grey Tea – Region: ?????

33 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 1/5
May. 13th, 2013

Yech! I am not an Earl Grey fan to begin with and this one not only has synthetic Bergamot notes (Think limonene from a lab!) it is also decaf and not worth drinking. Sorry, Twinings, but this bagged tea is not my fave at all! Stash makes a better one - but I hate that, too.

Earl Grey - it's just not my bag!

Black Currant from Tea Forte

Style: Fruit Black Tea – Region: Blend

73 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5
May. 13th, 2013

Super expensive (as all the cutesy-packaged Tea Forte teas are!) but so deliciously fruity and easy to drink. (You can get 2 cups easily out of a bag - so keep that in mind. Needs no sweetener. Very good for first-time tea drinkers and the adorable packaging (and high price) make it a suitable hostess gift. Fun. (S...

Picture of Jasmine Silver Needle

Jasmine Silver Needle from Adagio Teas

Style: Jasmine Silver Needle – Region: ?????

63 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5
May. 13th, 2013

I love Jasmine - but this Silver needle is not quite as good as Ito-En's. Adagio teas I usually get online and they are pricey plus you have to pay for shipping. That said, I love this tea - and its floral whisper-soft grassy green-ness. Best served hot (IMHO) and without sweeteners or embellishments.

Jasmine Silver Needle from ITO EN

Style: Jasmine Silver Needle – Region: Fujian, China

70 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
May. 13th, 2013

I love Jasmine-style teas and Ito En's is no exception. Brewed loose-leaf in a diffuser or tea ball is best served hot - not sweetener or lemon required. Grassy, floral and light bodies. Easy to drink. Harder to find outside of NYC and LA.(and of course, Japan).

Jasmine Petal from Two Leaves and a Bud

77 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5
May. 13th, 2013

Love 2 Leaves & A Bud - and the cute bags/packaging. Even better? The tea itself is pretty darned good - especially the Jasmine Petal (green based). Grassy and floral and not bitter. Easy to drink - and great hot or on ice - with or without a bit of honey or lemon. Good sippin'!

I love this tea - second only to Ginger Peach fom the same company - and it comes loose or in bags. Fruity, herbaceous and black/caffeinated - although the decaf version is nice also. Great iced or hot.

Lemon Lift Black Tea from Bigelow Tea

Style: Lemon Black Tea – Region: ?????

53 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
May. 5th, 2013

Not a fan of Bieglow Teas - but my old company had them and Lemon Lift was better (to me) than the dreaded "Constant Comment" - an orange/spice. Just OK. Not a fan. I actually like the I love Lemon herbal tea (which is a tisane and contains no tea at all) a bit better when I have a cold. This is a step about Lipton...

I love this bagged tea - yes, I know there are even better out there - but I keep comingback to ROT and their ginger peach green and black varieties. Great iced or hot. Subtly ginger-y and sweet without adding sugar.

Super over-priced but the cute packaging is fun. This is one of my favorite from Tea Forte - but I am a huge Jasmine/Green fan in general. Richly scented with jasmine so it is floral and sweet smelling. Very good hot.

May. 3rd, 2013

Love this and the decaf one. Lightly scented of Ginger - but a wonderful peachy top-note without that "artificial" peachy taste. Love this one - and I don't usually do black teas.

This might be my favorite tea ever!

I love this tea - sweet, peachy (without tasting of artificial peach) and a whisper of ginger (slightly lemony when served hot). Great hot or over iced. A winner for me.

Green Ginger from Tazo Tea

Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: China

60 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5

It's OK but not a holy grail. Zippy with Ginger but the green underneath is Tazo's ubiquitous grassy/mild green-generic. OK. Not great.

Zen Full Leaf from Tazo Tea

Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: Blend

73 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
May. 3rd, 2013

Tazo is carried in Starbucks and is very available and moderately priced. Zen has a green tea base with notes of mint and cintrus. Very good over ice. A solid pick for every-day green tea. I actually prefer this to the China Green Tips (the plain green Tazo that Starbucks carries). Both are good in a pinc (airport,...

Genmaicha from ITO EN

60 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
May. 3rd, 2013

The genmaicha is relatively grassy tasting with a bit of bitterness - but is still pleasant enough and certainly cheap enough to enjoy regularly. Good but not a holy grail.
