I thought this tea uninteresting. As an English Breakfast tea, I strongly prefer Twinings Ceylon Orange Pekoe. If they labelled that tea as their English Breakfast, I'd be perfectly convinced.

I'm not crazy about the flavor of this tea. It's a little bitter, and very sensitive to brewing time. I brewed it for 2 minutes and that seems to be optimal. I usually brew tea for at least 4 minutes because I like it strong. I added cream and sugar.

This is a standard black tea; it is mild, and not very complex. I let it sit for a good six minutes, and it still did not taste bitter or astringent. I think I would have preferred a richer tasting tea, but I still appreciate the quality of this one.

This is a pretty decent, strong black tea bag. I don't quite like it as much as Twinings' Ceylon Orange Pekoe, but it's close, and it's bolder tasting. The teabag contains fine dust, but it produces a good flavor.

This tea is as tough as it is tender, just as a Princess should be. Has a very mild fermentation quality that gives it the faintest nod to a puerh. Stands up well to milk and sugar, though I prefer it black.

The aroma is "earthy". The leaves are rolled into small balls, thus the snail name. Liquor has rich color. Excellent clean clear flavor. I'm impressed with this tea. Certainly it has made it to my top 3. I will purchase this tea again and again.

A good choice if you are looking for an English Breakfast tea and it's organic & fair trade to boot. It has a bold and distinct flavor -- for an English Breakfast -- but is not overpowering. Goes quite well with a lump of sugar and a spot of milk. Cheers.

I was really impressed by the strength of this tea, especially since I was craving a coffee and given this as a substitute (no coffee on hand today!). I thought this tea was pretty good, it wasn't terribly outstanding, but it satisfied my craving for a basic black, and the price seemed reasonable. With the combined price and quality, I feel like this tea could compete and overthrow my regular bagged blacks any day. I would buy it again if there were a Wegmans close...

Yet another high-quality loose-leaf tea from Ahmad, for a very reasonable price. I was surprised that Ahmad sells this alongside their Kalami Assam, which is a whole-leaf tea in a similar price range. This was an interesting tea to try, mainly for the historical connection to the Boston Tea Party. I wish I were able to try the loose-leaf tea, because the tea bag wasn't terribly impressive.
