The aroma of this tea is a wonderfully mild mix of chestnuts, scupernongs, and a touch of citrus. Once brewed the leaves take on a more hay aroma which blends really nicely with the chestnut.

The taste is very mild and delicious! Sweetness with mild vegetal aftertastes. I will have to get my hands on more of this o...

This tea manages to embody everything wonderful about autumn, meaning it smells very smoky and richly roasted. Very clean and very earthy!

The flavor is intensely complex! Very rich and resinous with smoky notes and a sweet aftertaste. Delicious!

Wild Snow Sprout Tea from Wild Tea Qi

Style: Green Tea – Region: Yunnan, China

87 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Jul. 11th, 2013

When I first opened the package I thought, is this a fermented tea? It had the rich earthy aroma of a Pu Erh and the smokiness of a mild Lapsang Souchong with just a hint of that 'Asian Market' smell that you get with Pu Erhs. It is delightful and unfamiliar, certainly a new aroma from a green tea.

Once the leaves ...

What a delicious tea! The aroma is very bright and green, vegetal and fresh like a nose full of spring-time.

It has all the aspects of Long Jing but better, the taste is intense but also mellow. Green, vegetal, tart (not bitter or sour, but tart like fruit) and subtly sweet with floral notes. There is also the afte...

Tamayokucha from Two Leaves and a Bud

63 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Jun. 8th, 2013

The aroma is very green and vegetal with a slight hint of citrus. More like orange blossoms than orange fruit though, so I can see it also being considered floral.

The flavor is also very green, and not in a bad way. Very light and also very bright! The taste is more like grass than vegetables, which is something I...

Starting with the dry leaves, I have to say this tea is beautiful. Bright green whole leaves and buds with a slight silvery fuzz, the aroma that comes from them is fresh and slightly floral, specifically it reminds me of yarrow.

The color of the liquid is a wonderful citrine color and the aroma is delightful. It re...

Minecraft Creeper Tea (Signature Blend) from Adagio Teas

Style: Green Tea – Region: Blend

77 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
May. 30th, 2013

This a great tea for people who love Green tea with interesting layers. At first the aroma is one of flowers and slight smokiness (ok, not terribly evocative of Creepers, but really, what does one even smell like! Maybe it does smell like flowers) The taste reminds me overall of spring time. The flavors seem to have di...

Roasted Tea Hoji-cha (16 ct.) from Yamamotoyama

Style: Hojicha – Region: Japan

80 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5
Oct. 23rd, 2012

The aroma of the tea vaguely reminds me of a lower grade Oolong and is very pleasant. It is not an overpowering aroma and has a tendency to fade pretty quickly.

The taste is great, Hoji-cha might be my favorite tea from Yamamotoyama Teas. The subtle smokiness with the rich taste of green is an excellent blend of fla...
