This tea brews a light amber color, much lighter than I had expected. Spice dominates the aroma...mostly fennel and cinnamon, with some clove and other spices. There is a much weaker black tea presence. The aftertaste suggests tarragon; this tea leaves a clean and tingly sensation in the mouth.

A smooth, gentle chai with a tangy aftertaste. Aroma sweet, spicey, and malty. Clove and cinnamon are particularly noticeable in the aroma; spice dominates and the tea is less noticeable. I'm not sure where the tea is from but the tea seems more like an Assam than like any other Indian teas. There's a bit of a meta...

The spices actually blend pretty well and in spite of the artificial flavoring, this tea is much more natural tasting than I had expected. No noticeable tea aroma, just vanilla and some spice. Creamy and smooth.
I would appreciate a stronger tea presence and perhaps more spice.

I like this teabag chai...and it's quite different. Happily, it's not too heavy on the cinnamon...the ginger, clove, and allspice are noticeable! The aftertaste is very clean and cool...more similar to Earl Grey than other chais. The black tea is nondescript and moderately strong...overpowered by the aroma of the sp...

This tea is too much like a regular spiced black tea with green tea substituted. But black and green teas have a very different character, so I think different proportions of spices are needed. The result in this case is a tea that does not blend well.
The cinnamon totally overpowers the tea and the other spices i...

Clove is dominant in the aroma, and cardamon is also present. Happily, this one does not overdo the cinnamon the way many American chai's do.
The tea is a mellow, smooth tea, and is overpowered by the spice, especially by the clove. I think they would have done better to use a stronger base tea.
Enjoyable, and ...
