Chamomile Lemon (loose leaf) from Numi Organic Tea

Style: Chamomile Blend – Region: Blend

100 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 5/5
Jun. 13th, 2015

I've had a hard time finding a chamomile that I like, but this one I LOVE. Smooth, aromatic, perfectly balanced, soothing, and easy to brew. Instead of bitter, it tastes almost sweet in a delicately lemony way. This is chamomile perfection. :-)

Pina Colada from Adagio Teas

Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: ?????

93 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 5/5
May. 21st, 2015

Excellent herbal tea! The flavor and aroma are both dominated by pineapple and coconut--both of which I like. It's delightfully fresh and sweet without sweeteners. I do wish that the flavor was more intense, so I'll try a higher concentration next time. It brews easily without going bitter, and so can brew as long as ...

Hibiscus Rooibos from Rishi Tea

Style: Flavored Rooibos – Region: Blend

93 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 4/5
May. 5th, 2015

EXCELLENT flavor combination. I love the fruitiness and the slight astringency (not bitterness) from the hibiscus. Both complement the rooibos very well. This sounded very good to me, so I'm glad that Rishi doesn't disappoint. If the ingredients list sounds good to you, you'll love it too.

It resteeps multiple times...

Very good! Sweet, soothing, and rich without bitterness. One of the better blends I've found with peppermint. I actually tried this one in sachet form, but it's the same as their loose leaf. Definitely impressive for chamomile. I easily got two good cups out of it.

Turmeric Lemon from Rishi Tea

Style: Herbal Tea – Region: Blend

83 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 4/5
Apr. 18th, 2015

Very good! The tumeric is the most notable, followed by ginger, then lemon. The flavors are balanced very well. Perfect when you want something invigoratingly spicy at the perfect level of intensity.

Hibiscus Berry from Rishi Tea

Very nice tea! Even the dry leaf is robustly fruity. Love the balance of fruitiness, tartness, and floral flavoring. The first cup had a nicer, redder color than the second, but the flavor was still good. There is no actual tea (or chamomile, rooibos, etc.) in this one; good for when you want flavor, but not caffeine. ...

Peach Tranquility Herbal Tea from Teavana

Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: Blend

57 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 2/5
Mar. 13th, 2015

Not bad, but not the best peach-flavored tea I've had. The chamomile isn't bitter and adds body, and the aroma is strongly of a sweet peach. There's also a creaminess of an unknown source, and it's not quite right. After I started drinking it, I had an odd feeling--like my nose and the top of my throat had become sligh...

Oooh, tasty! A non-caffeinated chai that's a lovely balance of spicy and sweet, with enough complexity to be interesting. It tastes like a red hot candy without the heat. It should be a dessert tea, I think. Easily the most impressed I've been with Celestial Seasonings so far.

Style: Flavored Rooibos – Region: Blend

70 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Feb. 27th, 2015

Quite good! It doesn't quite reach perfection for me, but it's among the best chocolate teas I've found. It also is *strongly* reminiscent of red velvet cake, with a vanilla accent. Naturally, this is a sweet/dessert tea.

It's hard for me to put my finger on how it could be improved, though I have a feeling it could...

Interesting tea--herbaceous in a way that reminds me of some tulsi teas, though this has no tulsi in it. I haven't had green rooibos before--this one being pretty good means I should probably try other varieties of it.

Grassy, but not in the same way as green teas, is how I'd describe this tea's aroma, flavor, and m...

Really good! An excellent balance of lightly tart and lightly sweet flavors. The first cup was an enticing, and therefore quite quick, drink. I had it at work at the beginning of the day. The second cup isn't as strong as the first, but is still pleasant.

No loose leaf version of this one is available, unfortunately...

Not bad. I've had a hard time finding a chocolate-based tea that I'm really crazy about, and this one is no exception. It isn't dazzling and the mint isn't my favorite, but it isn't offensive either. On the plus side, it's pretty easy to get a second cup out of this one.

I appear to have gotten a sample at the end o...

Hibiscus Vanilla Apple from Republic of Tea

Style: Herbal Tea – Region: Blend

73 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Feb. 23rd, 2015

The apple is very notable in this herbal tea. It tastes sweet, natural, and a bit sort of palate smacking--an apple juice-like taste rather than apple cider. Good stuff. The hibiscus provides background flavor/texture, but isn't as dominant as some of the other flavored hibiscus teas by this brand. This one has a refre...

Love it! Though I wish the hibiscus was stronger, it blends perfectly with the coconut. People who normally find hibiscus too tart may really like this one. Just the right level of sweetness. The aroma is particularly wonderful. I'd happily get this one again.

Feb. 18th, 2015

Not bad, but disappointing. The hibiscus isn't strong enough and something about the key lime flavor tastes fake. The flavors just aren't playing off each other the way they should be. It isn't so much offensive as simply meh.

Chamomile Lemon from Republic of Tea

Feb. 16th, 2015

Probably my second favorite chamomile blend (behind Numi's chamomile lemon), and so pretty impressive. The chamomile is there but not better and blends well with the other flavors. There is a hint of both lemon and of herbaceousness. Big chamomile fans would likely enjoy this more than I do, but the quality is good and...

Style: Flavored Rooibos – Region: Blend

Feb. 15th, 2015

Ooh, another well done herbal tea. Rooibos proves again to be an excellent base for flavors. Strawberry, rooibos, and vanilla--simple, but wonderfully balanced. The level of sweetness is perfect and there's a touch of creaminess. It's a bit like a not-overly-sweet strawberry cream hard candy that I could absent-minded...

Raspberry Rose Hibiscus from Republic of Tea

Mmmmm. Though not quite perfect, the ingredients are the stuff of perfection. I love this one and want it in a loose leaf version--which they sadly don't offer.

The most distinct scent and flavor is of raspberry, though the hibiscus adds a satisfying mouthfeel and its own tartness and the rose adds a hint of floral ...

Candied pineapple with assorted fruits and flowers. Nice! A balanced mixture of tartness and sweetness for those who love robust fruity flavors. There is no need for additional sweetening.

The pineapple, the strongest taste by far, tastes natural rather than fake. The rest of the flavors are the support team, and th...

A decent, keeps-it-simple vanilla rooibos. Loose leaf would definitely be better, but this is solid for a tea bag. You definitely need to be in the mood for a dessert tea, though. Good if you want a substantial, rich, after dinner drink that won't give you a buzz.

I tried it with milk added for the second cup. This ...

Amazing taste in the first cup! Perfectly balanced between sweetness and tartness, at a lovely level for frequent sipping. Exactly my kind of flavored tea. My only complaint is that the second cup has weaker flavor. That seems to be a trend for certain brands, unfortunately including tea bags from Republic of Tea. I'm ...

As someone who greatly prefers peppermint over spearmint, this tea was notably less offensive than I expected. In fact, it isn't even bad. If toning down spearmint gum and putting it in drink form sounds good to you, you'll enjoy this one. It isn't a favorite of mine, but that's due to personal taste rather than qualit...

Sweet, tart, very fruity, and reasonably inexpensive when buying a container. The flavor of this tea is very well balanced and quite good for a tea bag. I'd prefer an even more intense flavor, and so might use two bags at once. If you crave a flavor that's tart without being intensely sour, this one could easily fit th...

Hmm, this tea is quite interesting. I'd call it my second favorite chamomile-based tea so far (after the Lemon Chamomile by Numi). The flavors added are sweet in a rather creamy way, and it tastes pretty good--not amazing, but solid. There is none of the bitterness I often associate with chamomile.

However, very odd...
