Ripened Rose Pu-erh Mini Tuocha from TeaVivre

The aroma is a mixture of roses, leather, earthiness, and yeastiness. Brewing the tea brought on the aroma of earthiness and heady roses, it is quite intense.
I was able to get five steepings out of this tea and probably could have gotten more! The first steep tasted like leather and earthy, it was a bit biter but ...
Pu Erh Hazelberry from Adagio Teas

The first thing I noticed about this tea's aroma is the strawberry, which immediately reminded me of Crunch Berries! I also pick up notes of cream, hazelnut, earthiness, and minerals. It is a complex tea.
The taste is also complex, first there is a blend of earthy, metallic, and mineral flavors that really pop in m...

Cardamon Pu-Erh from Numi Organic Tea

The aroma of this teabag is mostly spicy cardamon, there is a slight earthy undertone, but for the most part we have lots of cardamon. Which is good if you are a big fan of cardamon, because it is not a subtle spice.
Tasting this tea reminds me more of a strong Black tea rather than a Pu-erh, it is very bright and a...
Pu-erh Ginger from Rishi Tea

Quite good! Rich and warming, yet zesty and fresh.
I tend to not like most fermented Pu-erh, and I am especially not fond of Pu-erh blends, but the only other blend including fermented Pu-erh that I like is produced by Rishi (their Vanilla mint Pu-erh), so I thought I'd give this one a chance too. And I liked it!

Chocolate Puerh - Black Tea Blend from Numi Organic Tea
Style: Flavored Pu-erh – Region: ?????70 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

I am a huge chocolate lover. I LOVE chocolate. So I've been trying to cut back on it, and I enjoy tea, so I figured I would give this a try. I was hoping for something that tasted like hot chocolate but with 0 calories. :) When I tried it, it almost tastes spicey. I don't taste much chocolate unfortunately, and you can...

The aroma of the dry tea bag is mostly of nutmeg, but upon brewing, more complexity develops. This tea brews a relatively light color, a sort of light orangish brown, much lighter than I'd expect for any tea bag blend containing a significant portion of Pu-erh. The aroma, upon brewing, is dominantly of cocoa, but it'...

I had only had pu-erh once before and thought it was ok, but nothing to get excited about. This didn't really change my mind, but I found it to have an intriguing earthy smell and taste, set off well by putting some skin in to brew with it. Mine didn't have a zesty orange taste, but was rather a pleasant, mild, smoot...

At times it was a little too astringent but at others it was a nice balance between the sweetness of the jasmine and the earthiness of the puerh. All in all though it is a very decent selection, especially for a jasmine addict such as myself

Blood orange anything is delicious, but Samovar really got this tea right. An earthy aroma with a hint of citrus reminds you of a dark chocolate orange. Add a cube of sugar or agave to this tea to really bring out the orange taste.

This tea smells so much stronger in the tin then the actual taste when you brew it. I love it with milk and a little sugar. It tastes like strawberries and cream. A good value and a great flavored black tea.

Excellent tea. Numi's quality is great. A single teabag will produce many cups of excellent tea.

This one just sounded bizarre to me, but when I smelled the dry leaf, it started to make more sense to me, and when I finally tasted it I understood fully! =) It brews a very dark opaque red, just like Rishi describes. The aroma is very complex but in a way I haven't experienced before.
Initially with each sip I n...
