I had this tea with milk & 1 sugar

The Aroma is strong and also a little over sweet for my tastes. However I really enjoy the taste, the combination of lychee and rose is delicate, full, and sweet. I steeped my current cup for over 2 minutes, but it seems that for fruit teas, I prefer them steeped even longer to giv...

How I like my tea: milk + 1 sugar

I'll preface this by saying, I think i rate tea best when i haven't had it to drink recently- otherwise I become slightly accustomed to it and I can't pick out the subtleties very well at all- and I've had this tea to drink quite a lot recently.

Despite being a taster of many di...

My tea preferences:
Black Tea: lighter teas + milk & 1 sugar

When I first smelled and sipped this tea I could hardly believe that it came from a tea bag rather than a pot of loose leaf. The tea is light, well rounded and sweet, and the aroma is not overpowering. One of my favorite things is that when the tea bag ...

The leaves are gorgeous! the dry leaf smell reminds me of very strong dried fruits, such as dates and raisins. maybe a little goji berry, too. I also get a whiff of sweet tobacco, like what my father used to smoke in his pipe when I was a girl. The taste is very interesting, slightly caramel-y, and i’m also getting t...

Very smooth tea. The smell is sweet and reminds me of cinnamon toast crunch mixed with honey. The taste is very clean, green and enjoyable. It’s a laid back cup for me, which is exactly what I am looking for at 5pm. However, I would have liked to have a bit more flavor, it isn’t strong, but it could be stronger, imo.

Jasmine Pearls Green Tea (Jasmine Dragon Pearls) from Canton Tea Co

Style: Jasmine Pearls – Region: China

83 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Jun. 29th, 2010

The smell and taste of the Jasmine was authentic, and not artificial. The aroma of the tea was of Jasmine flowers, sweet and soft, calming me down and reminding me of a sleepy time tea. The color of the liquor was very light, as expected from the white tea leaves. The white tea is tasty, I could taste the creaminess an...
