Like Paisley's other offerings, this is finely-broken tea in a flat paper tea bag.

In contrast to Paisley's other teas, which I found overwhelmingly strong, this one was weaker than typical for black tea. I steeped it a bit longer than normal, and both the color and flavor were on the mellow side.

The aroma is i...

This tea is a little bitter, but okay. I don't think it's worth the price. I added cream and sugar.

This tea smells kind of like green tea, which I don't like. The flavor is kind of bland, but okay. I would never buy it because I can find cheaper versions of basic decaf black tea that taste better. I added cream and sugar.

Organic Earl Grey (Formerly Double Earl Grey) from Paisley Label Tea (Paisley Tea Co)

This doesn't taste like double Earl Grey, in fact I can barely taste the bergamot at all. But even as a plain black tea, I don't like it much because it's a bit too bitter, and it has a very bitter aftertaste. It strengthens very quickly. This one wins on authenticity, and on organic and fair trade status, but I was disappointed by a high amount of astringency.

Very British-style...strong, but not as bergamot-ey as I expected. Pervasive but subdued bergamot quality.

This tea is very strong, overall. I also found it can easily be too strong...it ...

I was very interested to try the teas from this newly-launched effort of Two Leaves tea. This was an above-average quality British-style tea bag with finely-broken black tea, from the same company that I'm used to selling high-quality pyramid sachets. Good but not amazing. No brewing instructions on the container; I...
