I found this Earl Grey, loose leaf, decaf tea online. The price seemed really good so I decided to order a pound of it. I drink Earl Grey tea hot or iced. Yes, iced tea is a tradition in the southern U.S. At any rate it was not good at all. I mean it was really bad. I am not some sort of world class tea expert but have...Read Full Review

I didn't see a place on here for their loose-leaf version of this tea, but in general my impressions are the same (if more favorably numbered) than Alex Zorach's below. No tea on Earth is too strong for me, but I'll at least call this one worthy of the adjective "strong". The value ranking is the only thing holding i...Read Full Review

As Earl Greys go, this is about average. Decent, but somewhat flat. Bigelow seems to pride themselves on black-tea quality, and their other flavored teas seem to back up such sentiment. Read Full Review

This tea came in an assortment pack purchased at a local Marshall's. It has a smaller amount of bergamot than the earl grey and I found it a quite appealing and relaxing cup of tea. It is not overly strong, but strong enough to wake you up in the morning. Definitely a step up from common teas at the supermarket.Read Full Review

I prefer this over Twinings Earl Grey, but there was something about the bergamot flavor that I didn't like as much as other brands, such as Williamson or Dilmah.. Not too strong of a tea, even when steeped for 4 minutes. It is still a good tea for the price, however, and you can find it at the local TJ Maxx, Marshall'...Read Full Review

I think that the smell and flavor of bergamot is not strong enough. It is a little too bitter for me. You can add milk to it but then you will lose bergamot completely.
Anyway, it is just average bagged tea.

I loathe Earl Grey - but that cool little sachet makes it all worthwhile. (Not?). Smells of Bergamot (Duh! It's Earl Grey) and steeps up strong and you can easily get 2 infusions per sachet. Pricey but if you have an earl grey lover in the family Tea Forte products make a nice, classy gift. There are many other TF...Read Full Review

Among the Tazo varieties this one is just a mystery to me. So much as touch this to your water and you have a bitter steep. Maybe it's the fannings in there. I don't know, but this is a pretty astringent Earl Gray without a lot of complexity (dull and muted, in terms of flavor). Read Full Review

One of the first teas that I've ever had. Its aroma is of a light earl grey with a hint of citrus (not as much as a lady grey) and sweetness. I don't taste the citrus in the brew, but the creaminess comes through and creates a smooth, refreshing liquor that does not need milk or sugar to enjoy. Definitely a favorite an...Read Full Review

One of my favorite blends--particularly with respect to the price. The flavor is smooth, the citrus noticeable but neither fake nor overwrought; and no matter how long I let this steep, I don't detect any bitterness. I bought 100 grams to start out with, but I expect this to be a staple of my tea cabinet from now on.Read Full Review
