What a wonderful and unusual tea! I had read about the Temi Tea Gardens before ( nice article on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temi_Tea_Garden) and am so glad to have been able to taste this beautiful tea (thanks Alex Z.).

The aroma of the dry leaves is herbaceous and lightly floral, with hints of dried fr...

This tea is pretty good. It has a slight vegetal flavor that I don't like. It's interesting. It tastes a bit like wine. I added cream and sugar.

I'm happy to say that this was the first tea I've tried from Sikkim, India -- simple and dark, I thought this tea was quite tasty. I didn't notice fruity or floral tones, it was a little astringent.

A delightful tea of top quality, also somewhat different and unusual, darker in character than Darjeeling first flush.

Dry leaf has a light, fruity smell which is almost slightly more reminiscent of some very high grades of Chinese tea than like any Indian teas I've tried.

I found this tea drastically changed cha...

Somewhat oolong-like, with an herbaceous aroma and a mellow, slightly savory flavor. The flavor and mouthfeel of this tea are particularly interesting...it's a bit peppery and spicy, yet smooth overall, with some honey-like sweetness. Although the other Sikkim teas I've tried prior to this one have been rather Darjee...

I really enjoyed this tea. It's Delightful. As the description says: It has complex notes".

If you get the brewing just right its has a great deal of flavor. I steeped mine for 5 minutes and found it just right.

I suggest you separate your daily use from the package as it changes quickly with exposure to air. Th...

Mellow, muted, greener in character for a black tea, but bland. Similar to TD06, Upton's broken-leaf Darjeeling blend, but I don't like it as much; it's less floral and the aroma is weaker overall. I recommend steeping 3 minutes or more, otherwise it's too weak. This tea can acquire some astringency, but not as much...
