Kenya Hand Rolled Purple Varietal Oolong Tea from What-Cha

Style: Oolong Tea – Region: Kenya

The aroma of these dark twisty leaves is earthy and sweet, very sweet actually, blending notes of loam and mineral with plums, raisins, and honey. I will admit the earthy notes and sweet fruity notes mixing together are a little odd, though not unpleasant, my nose finds you intriguing oh great dark elf tea.

The fir...

Kenya Premium White Tea from What-Cha

Style: White Tea – Region: Kenya

100 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 5/5

Looking at the dry leaves, it doesn't look like a white, it looks like a fuzzy golden tea from Yunnan...sniffing the leaves it has the sweet corn notes of a Kenyan Silver Needle, the heady floral notes of an oolong, and the malty, sweet potato, and caramel notes of a golden Yunnan tea. It tastes just like the liquid sm...

Kenyan Silver Needle from What-Cha

Style: Silver Needle – Region: Kenya

100 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 5/5

he aroma of this particular silver needle is nothing short of mouthwatering, which is why I advise pouring the tea you wish to sniff out of the bag, don't want to ruin tea by drooling. It is incredibly sweet with notes of peaches and sweet corn, this transitions to floral notes that very much so brings to mind blooming...

What a pleasant smelling tea! The aroma is a wonderful mix of earthy and malty with a slight note of nuttiness. It is a very clean, pure tea smell which I think would be great to drink on its own but also a perfect base for blends.

! I love this tea, it is a perfect blend of maltiness, richness, earthiness and sweet...

Very sweet and very spicy are the first things I notice when appreciating this tea. The leaves and spices are a beautiful combination of colors...pardon me while I ogle this tea for a moment. The aroma blends earthiness, floral (mostly rose), pepper, and fennel notes with little hints of licorice and coriander for a po...

Earl Grey from JusTea

Style: Earl Grey Tea – Region: Kenya

60 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5

Woo! That Earl packs a punch! Very strong bergamot and what seems like a mild note of lemons hiding under the bergamot. Not an unpleasant potency, it would be perfect as a wake up aroma. I often amuse myself by comparing a good Earl Grey to Victorian smelling salts, it would make a better fainting remedy I think! The a...
