Picture of Blueberry Bliss Rooibos Tea

Blueberry Bliss Rooibos Tea from Teavana

Style: Fruit Rooibos – Region: Blend

90 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5
Jul. 24th, 2012

This tea is a crowd-pleaser. The blueberry flavor is strong and mixes well with the rooibos. It's sweet, slightly citrusy and tangy but is very good without sugar or as an iced tea. Now, this is pricy and is not an everyday tea, but it's a nice treat once in a while.

Cucumber Mint (Skin Smart) from Tea Forte

Style: Green Tea with Mint – Region: Blend

40 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 2/5
Jul. 24th, 2012

This tea has a strange scent, both fruity and minty, which to me smelled like alcohol. The flavor isn't impacted much by this, tasting like a normal green tea. However, it's nothing special and definitely isn't worth the price. The mint adds a hint of coolness, but the tea is somewhat bland and simple.

Cherry Marzipan (Skin Smart) from Tea Forte

Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: Blend

63 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5
Jul. 22nd, 2012

This is a nice, but overpriced, flavored tea. The green tea quality is ok but not great although the light cherry and almond flavors make this refreshing and sweet. It would be nice for deserts or as a nice ice tea.

Orange, Passionfruit Jasmine Green Tea from Lipton Tea

Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: Blend

53 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Jul. 15th, 2012

I think the average person would enjoy this. The flavors are not as intense as I personally would like them to be, but the orange and jasmine balance out well with the green tea. I would have also personally liked more passionfruit, but it is noticeable, just not by much. It's not bad iced and I wouldn't mind using ...

Wild Blackcurrant Herbal Tea from Stash Tea

Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: Blend

70 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Jul. 14th, 2012

It's very berry-like. The one I had was mixed with a bit of licorice, which is strange but actually worked well with the berry. I think the one they sell now omits the licorice, but this seemed like good quality tea for the price.

Mint Green Tea from Lipton Tea

Style: Green Tea with Mint – Region: Blend

83 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 5/5
Jul. 14th, 2012

Honestly, I think this is a really solid mint green tea. It's simple, the mint's a bit overwhelming in the balance, but it has that hint of sweetness and is quite refreshing. I don't think it's the best tea ever, but it'll work for a tummy-ache or if you just feel like having something minty.

Lemon Ginseng Green Tea from Lipton Tea

Style: Green Tea with Lemon – Region: ?????

67 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Jul. 13th, 2012

I think my main issue is the lack of balance between the lemon and the tea. People often put lemon in to hide bad tea and maybe that's the case here. But I feel like I'm drinking lemonade more than tea.

Decaf Genmai-Cha from Yamamotoyama

Style: Genmaicha – Region: ?????

83 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 5/5
Jul. 12th, 2012

This review is old and since I wrote it, I have tried other Genmai cha's. For the price you pay, you're getting a pretty good quality product. The tea is a decent quality, slightly sweet sencha while the rice adds this warm nutty flavor to it. This is more of a winter tea for me, but it would go great with chicken s...

Roasted Tea Hoji-cha (16 ct.) from Yamamotoyama

Style: Hojicha – Region: Japan

73 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Jul. 12th, 2012

You can taste the toastiness of this tea. it's slightly savory with more of a strong flavor than regular green tea and would probably go well with a nice stew in the winter. It's a little smokey which threw me off when i first tried it, but not bad. Plus, YMY is relatively cheap and has acceptable quality so at the ...

Honey Green Tea from Lipton Tea

Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: Blend

77 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 5/5
Jul. 12th, 2012

So far from the sample pack i got, this is my favorite. The tea contains ingredients such as orange peel and chamomile, giving it a slightly tangy and sweet top note. I feel that it's a bit misnamed because it tastes very little like honey and more like green tea with a hint of citrus. It's not something I personall...

Mixed Berry Green Tea from Lipton Tea

Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: Blend

37 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5
Jul. 5th, 2012

So, I love berry tea especially mixed with green tea. But this didn't taste like it had real berries, jut fake flavors. I know the box says natural flavors, but when I brewed it, it smelled like fake cherry and then tasted like strawberries. Maybe I got a bad batch, but it's also more bitter than the regular green t...

Green Tea from Lipton Tea

Style: Green Tea – Region: ?????

60 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Jul. 5th, 2012

It's ok. For a cheap tea, it has a lot of flavor but I noticed a chemical taste in mine that really turned me off. I know for a lot of people, this seems like a value but if you buy loose leaf blends, you can get a better quality tea for much cheaper, but I digress. It's not great but it could be a lot worse in term...

Picture of Ceylon Green Tea with Lemon Grass

Ceylon Green Tea with Lemon Grass from Dilmah

Style: Green Tea with Lemon – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon

60 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Jul. 1st, 2012

I found this tea underwhelming. It's not bad, but usually when someone puts a flavor on a bad, you expect a flavor in the tea. This pretty much tastes like the dilmah green ceylon with a hint of lemongrass, maybe, if you can find it.

Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon

83 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 5/5
Jun. 30th, 2012

I feel like this tea is both unique and versatile, which is ultimately why I put people should buy it. The tea is more scented like caramel and goes well with milk and sugar (despite the suggestions of the company), but is good naked as well. I think the ultimate strength is its ability to mix well with other fruit f...

I don't think this tea is particularly bad, it just isn't as good as their other teas and you can probably find a better quality ceylon for cheaper. The taste is crisp and clear and it does the job right, but I'd stick with the fruit teas.

Mango from Dilmah

87 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Jun. 29th, 2012

First off, this tea smells phenomenal. Dilmah does a great job making a fruit tea that can also double as an air freshener. As for the taste, it makes a great iced tea. The mango is strong, the tea is strong, and they're fairly well balanced. Overall, if you like mango, then you'll like this.

Jun. 29th, 2012

I love Dilmah, but this is probably one of my least favorite teas of theirs. It just doesn't have any punch like other mint teas do. Try their other teas, but don't expect much if you get this in a sample pack.

This tea grew on me. I got this as a sample and ended up just having to pay the shipping, so 2 oz for 3 dollars AND a 20% off coupon (which sadly has expired). The banana flavor lends itself well to the crispness of the tea and if you want something to eat shortbread cookies with, I can think of very few things that ...

Personally, I found this a bit underwhelming. Maybe I was expecting too much but I was expecting a nice fruit and herb tea with a lovely berry flavor and got...a hint maybe of berry. It's ok, just not great.

Overall, I think this is a good bagged chai if you like your chai a little spicy. It takes milk well, has a good blend of sweet and spicy and is cheap. You're still better off making your own, but this works for the lazy.
