Hello, Gorgeous! This is a freshly picked (May 2014) bright green-leafed aromatic wonder.

This was a good tea, but I wasn't blown away. Interestingly, the dry tea smells like pumpkin guts. That's the second time I've smelled tea leaves with this aroma within a week. It's very pleasant, but I'm a little confused.

The dry tea smells like matcha, with vanilla. I brewed this for 4 minutes using water at 205 degrees. The aroma while steeping smelled like hay, with hints of jasmine and another floral. Maybe it is the orchid that is mentioned in the tea's description. Not sure.
