Style: Chai / Spiced Tea – Region: Matara, Sri Lanka90 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 4/5

This is a lovely tea with a pleasing balance between the tea and the cinnamon flavors. I tend to prefer my spiced tea to have more than one spice for flavoring, but this is quite well done. Though it could be used to make a latte with sweetener and milk, I like it best straight. It'd be great at breakfast or anytime so...Read Full Review

As others have noted, clove and pepper come through in this tea. Cinnamon and other flavors are subtle. I added sugar and milk and really liked it. In short, as a bagged tea this one is pretty solid.Read Full Review

I really, really like this one. It's a great chai that works the chocolate flavoring just right. The cardamom is the most noticeable spice for the first couple cups, with the cinnamon showing up later. In both cases they were very smooth, not overwhelming or out of place.Read Full Review

An excellent, high quality chai. The leaf smells so refreshing! I love the spice mixture.Read Full Review
I've tried this one a few different ways and have reached a few conclusions:
1) It's very nice even without milk and sugar.
2) If you want to make a latte, make sure the milk is heated at the same time as the water before...

Not bad, but a bit too dominated by licorice (aroma and flavor) for my taste. Spicy, sweet, and best as a latte in my opinion. It doesn't go bitter easily, thankfully.Read Full Review

It's not my all-time favorite chai, but this tea is very solid. The cardamom flavor is the most notable and it provides a certain briskness to it. You should, in my opinion, definitely add a bit of sugar and milk (creamer works too if that's all you have at your job). This really makes it an enjoyable, fairly invigorat...Read Full Review

Quite solid tea. I only tried it straight, without milk or sugar. I suspect it'd be even better with milk and perhaps sweetener, but it's pretty good on its own. Cinnamon is definitely the strongest spice I smell. Decently substantial flavor without bitterness. If you're needing a cheap decaffeinated chai, this one isn...Read Full Review

I quite enjoyed this tea. The most notable spice in the smell and flavor is cardamom, but it isn't overpowering. I can also detect the undertones of apple that Alex mentioned.Read Full Review
For me, this tea worked both straight and with milk. Not my all time favorite, but a decent chai. Works well with food, too. Though progressi...

A nice chai! I enjoyed the spices and thought they blended well with the rooibos. I didn't try it with milk, but suspect it would be great with the creaminess that would impart. I'll have to get this one again to give it a fuller review.Read Full Review

Interesting tea. The spice combination isn't my favorite, but it isn't bad. I think the cardamom is a little too strong relative to the other flavors. I definitely think this is one to drink with milk, in which case it could be exactly what you're craving when the mood strikes you. The black tea works well and isn't at...Read Full Review

Based on the deliciously spicy dry aroma I was very excited to try this tea. Unfortunately, the flavor was much more flat, weak, and less interesting. How unfortunate.Read Full Review
On the plus side, it makes for a solid latte. So if you like your tea with milk and perhaps a bit of sugar, this may well be a favorite cup for you. ...

I was worried about this tea due to it seeming gimmicky, but I was pleasantly surprised how very tasty it was. Full flavor balanced between spiciness and sweetness. I would happily drink this many, many times. I should note that t...

The aroma may be the best part of this tea, with the flavor being a solid second. The smell is just about perfect if you're in the mood for something at once spicy and comforting.Read Full Review

Complex, robust, and pleasant. Love this tea. Without even placing it near my face, there was a strongly peppery aroma. There are an assortment of spices in here, several of which I'm sure I can't identify. But they all went very well together.Read Full Review
