Sweet & Spicy Caffeine Free from Good Earth Teas

Style: Flavored Rooibos – Region: Blend

56 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 4/5
Oct. 6th, 2021

My boss drinks this at work and while it smells like Christmas - I can't deal with this type of tea. It is caffeine free and brews up in about 3-4 minutes. Mid-priced. Affordable. Not my fave. So. Much. Cassia bark.

Classic Mint (Egyptian Mint Herb Tea) from Novus Tea

Style: Peppermint Tea – Region: Egypt

50 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5
Apr. 2nd, 2017

I agree 100% with Alex. I had this at a restaurant - and it is a mid-to-strong peppermint without being too strong/sharp. Not a candy-cane tea - might even have spearmint in there too? Can't tell.

Nope. Just checked the Bigelow website - it's 100% peppermint, which, indded, you can grow yourself. Cheaply.

Citrus Mint from Tea Forte

Style: Herbal Tea – Region: Blend

57 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 2/5
Aug. 12th, 2016

I am not a fan of mint teas - but the citrus/orange-y notes in Tea Forte's cute little sachet made this one palatable. I recommend steeping longer than 3-4 minutes and then chilling and service over ice. I did not care for it hot. As with all Tea Forte - you are paying for packaging and they make great gifts.

Ah, Starbucks - you and your mergers & acquisitions. This is the new Passion tea (super fruity and a pretty color)they use in their ice tea and tea/lemonade beverages now. I prefer the green - but this is kid friendly - my 11 year old like it - and a nod to the Teavana purchase. Overpriced if you buy it but the cup ...

I hate Peppermint tea - but this one seems to be a very nice,. smooth one. Smells pure and minty - cool and fresh. All organic. Simple. Good for after dinner. Might be good over ice as well.

Had this at a restaurant - not bad but not my fave. A bright cranberry top note and a hint of apples underneath. OK. Caffeine free. Inexpensive and easy to find. Smells better than it tastes. (Potpourri ish).

Organic African Nectar from Mighty Leaf Tea

Firstly, let me preface this by saying that I HATE Roiboos. But for a roiboos-based blend this one is tolerable (so most people I bet will like it). Smells very sweet - and has a vanilla taste to it that makes it palatable.

I had this at an event and would never purchase a box. Blargh!

63 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5

I am not a fan of the Zingers in general - but raspberry is better than red or Lemon. They all smell great - but they just don;t taste all that wonderful to me.

Very sour/tart raspberry flavor with an herbal/green note.

Ruby Mist Herbal Iced Tea from Stash Tea

Style: Herbal Tea – Region: ?????

63 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Feb. 2nd, 2015

First off, this is a tisane - there is no tea in this blend. It is also caffeine free and very fruity with a fair shot of peppermint. Definitely well suited for iced tea. Sweetener optional. Not a big fan (as i tend to avoid mint) but a good and inexpensive choice from Stash. Worth a try.

57 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5
Dec. 10th, 2014

People just love this one - but for some reason, I don't. Too floral and ascerbic and weirdly tart for me. But my 9 year old digs it iced - and Starbucks serves it in vast quantities.

I like Tazo's Green and the old-formula "Om" a bit better.

Amazed how good this cheap ($2.99 for a box of 24 bags) bagged grocery-store tea is. Not nearly as good as the Republic of Tea's version - but much less money and perfect for what I needed it for (A local PTA meeting). Stash teabags are perfect when you need to provide tea bags for a crowd and offer a decent quality ...

I loathe orange & spice teas - so i may not be the best person to review this and I am shocked that I even had more than a few sips of this. Blarg! Smells great - but the taste is like drinking perfume. Not for me.

Not as good as the pineapple one (my 9 year old's fave) or the blackberry one - but if you like peach (I sometimes don't if it tastes synthetic) this is a good, fruity choice. Excellent iced with or without sweetener. This is a tisane (herbal blend) there is NO tea in it.

Update: Now that Starbucks owns Teavana -...

Dec. 3rd, 2013

I am not a huge fan of Celestial Seasonings - that said back in the '70's they were some of the first herbal tisanes I ever tried - even as a child.

I enjoy the smell of Country Peach Passion better than the taste. Sweet and fruity with a distinct (somewhat fake-y) peach note to it.

This might be one of my faves...

Blueberry Bliss Rooibos Tea from Teavana

67 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 2/5
Jun. 26th, 2013

I, generally don't like Rooibos - but Teavana crams so much fruit flavor in (and aroma) that it's hard to resist these (especially free samples) over ice in summer. While I like the Pineapple pop better, this one is good, too and the new Blueberry/Pineapple blend is also worth a try if you like herbal tisanes. Oh - a...

Smelled awesome and tasted good over ice - and I hate Roiboos - but this is blended like an herbal tisane. Fruity and herby.

This is a blend of Pineapple Pop and Blueberry Bliss so there is a WHOLE lot going on here.

Wild Sweet Orange from Tazo Tea

First of all, the package design and possibly the name of this tea may have changed, but I was at a conference in a Sheraton Hotel that offered a few tea selections and since there were no green teas left I chose this. (It was that or a straight black tea so I picked this). I am not a fan of orange teas - but this on...

I am not a huge fan of Chrysanthemum tea - unless it's iced and sweetened and then i get kinda-sorta get into it, but when I lived in NY I would go to the Ito-En flagship store and get a bunch of different kids.

Their Chrysanthemum tea is fun to brew and watch the blossoms in the water. Smells a bit floral but al...
