Aroma is predominantly grassy, more grassy than any other green tea--drinking it conjures up images of being out in my yard, digging around in the grass. There are some interesting floral tones. Flavor is rather muted; most teas with similar aromas are a bit more sour, astringent, and brisk, but this tea mainly leaves a pleasant muted bitter aftertaste, and has little sourness.

I found this tea was picky about brewing temperature. It was too bland for me if brewed much under 180F, but if I went much higher than that, it took on a bit of a scalded quality as well as some unpleasant "overcooked vegetable" tones.

I liked making a single cup with a long infusion best (4+ min); you really need to use quite a lot of leaf to get a rich flavor.

One last thing I really liked about this tea is the way it made me feel. It seems more mild and centering than some teas.
