The aroma is loaded with delicate lavender and sharp bergamot, with compliments of mellow muscatel and a hint of malt. This is not like most Earl's, it is more smooth and gentle.
The taste is at first incredibly smooth and fades to a crisp briskness. The base tea blend mixes muscatel and malt flavors with a very slight astringency. The bergamot and lavender are both mild, accents that do not overpower, quite balanced
