This actually reminded me a lot of black tea, which was surprising. I actually tasted a little bitterness, though I'm not sure where that came from as there is no caffeine in this tea.

If a caffeine free latte sounds good to you, this tea is pretty solid. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, but it wasn't bad.

I haven't tried Numi's honeybush, but honeybush in general reminds me a lot of black tea. It is oxidized--similarly to how rooibos is, which may explain it, it's one of the few herbal teas that is produced by an oxidation process similar to how black tea is made.

I don't drink honeybush that often, mainly because it's not as widely available as rooibos, but I really like it. I was sad to find out (when expanding RateTea's article on honeybush) that many of the species used to make it, are endangered or threatened.

Well that's troubling. Is there any movement to protect the species? I'm not really into honeybush, but if others are I'm sure they'd like to know about it.
