It smells good, but the taste of cloves is really overpowering. When the tea is in my mouth I feel like I'm drinking hot water with a bunch of ground cloves mixed in, and it almost tastes burnt. Only after swallowing it do I detect any of the other spices: some ginger and a surprisingly small amount of cinnamon. I can't taste the tea at all over the spices. The taste is different from any other chai tea I've tried. It's not terrible, but I probably won't buy this again.
