At the risk of sounding absolutely ridiculous, I'm going to say that this rooibos smells and tastes more like rooibos than any other rooibos I've tried yet!
Woody, with a hint of fruitiness...but also a quality that is slightly reminiscent of paint or socks. Perhaps rooibos is an acquired taste that I'm still not 100% of the way to acquiring--honestly I strongly prefer the green stuff.
Still, I have to say, I really enjoyed this stuff. I do notice the difference between this and BA20. It's a contender for the best Rooibos I've tried; Equal Exchange's wild rooibos, though, still takes that title..
