Straight up: this is probably the best chamomile tea I've had. Chamomile is a difficult herb to either foul up or make amazing. Without some sort of enhancement, as Bill Parcells might say, "It is what it is." Numi helped by sprinkling lemon myrtle leaves into the mix.
This beverage brews up a rich golden color with more lemon aroma than flavor, and that's OK with me. I don't particularly like nor hate lemon, and do not add it to tea on purpose. Still, in some contexts it welds well with the rest of the beverage. Here it does, a flavor that knows its place is in the background, yet seems to boost to the dominant chamomile taste and aroma richly. Drinking this continues the roller-coaster ride that is their 16-bag variety collection, but in a pleasant way.

FINALLY, a chamomile tea I actually enjoy! Very smooth, almost creamy in flavor, balanced perfectly with the lightly citrusy lemon myrtle. This is the first time I've actually felt calmed and soothed by chamomile, rather than annoyed by it. There's no bitter aftertaste either, even after I accidentally brewed it longer than I intented to. Got two good cups out of it.
Honestly, this is one tea in the sampler pack I got that I was dreading, but it unexpectedly blew me away. While thinking up the wording for this review, I waved my arms a bit, which startled and amused my fiance. I assured him it was a positive gesticulation, not one of worry or a sign of insanity. ;-D
In short, whether you normally like chamomile or not, this tea is definitely worth trying.

I love this tea because it tastes really good and I love how it smells too! Normally, chamomille is not really good tasting, but this tea is the best Chamomille tea I have ever consumed in my life time! I would really recomend that you try out the tea too!
