Commercial Description
Twinings has been blending my family tea for years. Today, I am proud to continue this tradition with the tea celebrated throughout the world known as Twinings Earl Grey. Legend has it, that my ancestor, the second Earl Grey, was presented with this exquisite recipe by an envoy on his return from China.

I can't stand Earl Grey - and yet I have tried many of them. Sometimes I try when I am at a convention or hotel or in an office or deli that carries Twinings. In this case they were all out of the other kids of teas and it was this or coffee - so I gave it a go (hot with a bit of splenda). Not as good as some I've tried - the Bergamot was strong but not bitter-strong.
Still, Earl Grey - with all its Bergamot Glory is just "not my bag".

I enjoyed the strong flavor of this tea and thought that it was a good brew. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was the smell. The smell of Bergamot is one of my favorite things about Earl Grey, and this tea didn't deliver. I liked the tea overall, and look forward to trying other styles from Twinings.

I like strong flavours. Twinings delivers a strong flavoued Earl Grey tea where the bergarmot is easily noticeable and great on the pallet. The % of bergarmot is even listed on the pack. This is the only brand that I have seen that does this. However the tea can come from different countries and you never know from which country the tea is sourced.

I'm impressed with this tea, since I don't like some of Twinings' other teas that much. It's pretty good. I added cream and sugar.

I am totally addicted to Twinings Earl Grey and can't live without it in the mornings as my wake up drink. It is light and refreshing and my drink of choice at anytime.

I find this to be a very good Earl Grey tea. It isn't too heavy in flavor, but still gives my tastebuds a treat when I drink it.
The aroma is lovely, from the very few seconds of steeping until the last sip.
I enjoy this tea, its mild flavors, and its mellow nature.

Readily available, and not annoyingly heavy with the bergamot. The first Earl Grey I ever tried, and as such forms a baseline for comparison of other Earl Greys that I try.

Fair nose dominated by the bergamot. Made from the bag, the steeped tea has no truly distinctive flavors. My guess is that by the time it made it through the distribution chain, all the life had oxidized out of this tea.
