The liquor (5 min steep) produces a deep rich brown color. The flavor, matches the aroma, mild Assam like. Slight maltiness. This would a good 'sip all day' choice. Might be too mild for milk or sugar.

Review of Mauritius by JGS1122

First I need to mention I do not venture into 'flavored' tea territory very often. The aroma (dried and brewed) is unmistakably vanilla. Pleasant and brings to mind a bowl of ice cream. The liquor is a deep dark brown (steeped five minutes). The flavor has a solid vanilla taste. I might enjoy this tea now and then, but I would have it in my regular rotation. It might be best served as a dessert tea or it might pair well with cinnamon rolls.

Review of Sessa Estate Winey Assam by JGS1122

The aroma is nice, with a subtle sweetness, earning the 'winey' designation. The liquor brewed (five minutes) to a dark brown. Solid Assam taste with a slight tangy after taste that stays on the tongue. This tea might pair well with milk or sugar.

Review of Kumaon Black Tea by JGS1122

Pleasant mild aroma. The liquor medium honey color. Flavor is good, this tea would probably be overwhelmed with the addition of sugar or milk. Easy to sip and enjoy.

Review of Kenya FOP by JGS1122

A mild earthy aroma. Smooth taste. Classic Ceylon. I think milk or sugar could be added without over powering this tea. Ceylon fans should give it a try.

Review of Royal Golden Yunnan (T-16) by JGS1122

Classic yunnan smell, rich, earthy. Smooth flavor.
Certainly an "all day" tea choice.
Excellent price.
When I first spotted this tea, I was leery.
My other encounters with African grown teas have been disappointing. This one is the best so far.

Review of Korakundah Estate Organic FOP by JGS1122

Subtle flavor.
