I do notice bergamot, but there are a lot of other aromas in there, and it smells cloying, more like potpourri than a flavored black tea. Upon brewing, I find I like the aroma even less, because the bergamot is even more obscured by other flavorings. To be honest, it reminds me a lot of the air fresheners used in public restrooms...not the sort of smell I want to drink. Dry leaf consists of big, intact pieces of leaf, a fairly rich green color, looks a little more like bancha than some sencha though. The leaf is not very aromatic, and this doesn't change much when the tea is steeped. Produces a cup that is quite weak for a sencha. I normally use a heaping teaspoon for sencha, and steep for 1-2 minutes, but in this case, this wasn't long enough and I steeped longer. A somewhat subdued tea that was slow to infuse, but became quite robust if steeped long enough. Quite different from a typical breakfast tea. The dry leaf, which is fairly large pieces of leaf that are tightly rolled, smelled slightly of cocoa, but wasn't very aromatic, nor was the cup upon brewing.
