Earl Grey French Blue from Mariage Freres

Style: Blue Flower Earl Grey – Region: Blend

The bergamot that makes this an Earl Grey tea is of high quality and not at all obtrusive. The "French Blue" refers to the addition of "bleuet royal" (blue cornflower). My wife and I have enjoyed this blend for years. We believe It is one of the better Earl Greys on the market. It is available loose and in sachets.

Marco Polo from Mariage Freres

Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: Blend

90 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 4/5

Marco Polo is a very successful blend from the venerable house of Mariage Frères. Aside from evoking the "flowers and fruits of China and Tibet" it is a smooth tea. It has a suggestion of vanilla, honey and caramel without a bit of sweetness. Can take a little milk, if you like it that way.
