The aroma is a blend of roasted nuts, cocoa, and beets, it is quite savory rather than sweet. Brewing the tea brings out a fruity quality and sweetness along with the roasted nuts and cocoa quality.

The aroma of this tea is strong and bright with floral, oaky, fruity, cocoa notes, and a hint of tobacco notes. It is very complex and fades from one aroma to the other. The brewed leaves start oaky, loamy, and slightly like fresh bread and then fade to lychee tones. The liquid loses all its woody tones and is sweet an...

The aroma of this tea is fairly delicate with notes of muscatel, oak, and summer berries. When brewed it takes a turn for the malty and stronger oak notes.
The taste is bright and clean with notes of muscatel, sweetness, and dark chocolate. It is a great afternoon tea.

The aroma is very rich, rich and chocolaty with notes of malt and earthiness. It reminds me of tea mixed with milk chocolate. Once brewed there is more of a 'tea' aroma than chocolate. The liquid is richy earthy and ties the pu erh in nicely with the black tea and chocolate.
The taste is sweet and very robust. The ...

The aroma of this tea is wonderfully sublime, woodsy, muscatel, and oaky like a wine cask. The brewed tea brings more earthiness and wood notes, the liquid is very sweet and makes my nose tingle.
The taste is wonderful! One of the smoothest black teas I have ever had. Sweet, earthy, and oaky. A wonderful tea.

The taste is mildly smoky and sweet with a tanginess that reminds me of an oak cask. Perfect tea for an autumn evening!

This is one of those teas that you get because it is cheap and you really want tea. I mostly have bought it for making iced tea because you can make a really decent iced tea with this brand. Sadly it is not the best hot. As a hot tea it is pretty flavorless and boring.

The aroma is lovely, you can certainly tell it is an Assam from the first sniff! Rich and malty. I was however, surprised by the amount of dust in the tea wrapper and then in my tea, I have not run into that before with this company's Assam.
The taste is quite good! Malty, rich, subtly sweet, and not at all bitter....

The aroma and flavor of this tea were not overwhelming, it had the typical maltiness of Assam and the tanginess of Ceylon but both were muted.
The flavor, although muted, is really pleasant and a good bagged tea for when you first wake up and really just want a quick, tasty, cup of tea. Very evocative of the tea I ...

Everything about this tea is fair, I was not overwhelmed by the aroma or the taste. Sadly it was all bland. The aroma was malty and there was a slightly malty taste. I added a bunch of cream and it brought out some of the richer maltiness of the tea.

The aroma is sweet, it is hard to describe it as anything other than that, it is sweet and very pleasant.
I am beginning to think I am not a fan of Darjeeling unless it is in a blend, because this is the second Darjeeling I have had and not been fond of.
The taste was tart, bitter and a little muddied. I am wil...

Sometimes you get really lucky and find a treasure where least expecting it, in this case I found this tea at a discount style close-out grocery store. Described by the box as a strong traditional black leaf blend, the tea certainly looks and smells strong. The aroma is rich and slightly nutty with a hint of malt from ...

Smoked over pine fires in bamboo baskets this tea captures the taste of the fire. It is a perfect tea for cold winter nights…the taste reminded me of warm fires, high mountains, and clear cold skies. You can taste the full spectrum of tea with this type…the warmth from the sun, the aging leaf, and the smoke from th...

The aroma is very light and floral and the taste matches! I find the taste to be a mix of floral and citrus with a very mild tea flavor. Very subtle and enjoyable!
I only got a sample if this tea but definitely plan on getting more from Agagio as it might be my favorite of their teas
