The aroma smelled just like a Christmas tree. Great for a winter’s night by the roasting fire.

It's a really nice tea! It tastes like Christmas, that is it has hints of evergreen in its flavor and smell.

The aroma of this tea is one that reminds me of cold winter nights, bundle up by the fire place near a Christmas tree. While I'm usually not one for black teas this is the exception I would make. It's flavor is a flavorful black tea with hints of licorice reminds me of the tea my grandmother used to make, with a bit mo...

I'm not really an impartial reviewer when it comes to salted caramel... anything, unfortunately. I've never found anything that is salted caramel flavor I liked, they always are either way too salty or like drinking caramel... neither of which do I find appealing. However, I received a sample of the Stash Salted Carame...

Decent breakfast tea, not really my style but not bad. However, the name is misleading. There's nothing "Christmas" about it!

I'm a little sad that this tea is being discontinued. After numerous fruit tea failures, this one actually lives up to the expectation. It has a distinctly blueberry aroma and, as expected, tastes like a raspberry/blueberry blend. If they weren't discontinuing it, it would likely find a home in my collection. I may act...

Fans of unabashedly fruity teas, this one's for you. Get some today. "Sweetheart" is well worth giving love, though in a somewhat unexpected way.
While on their website replenishing stocks of other Murchie's teas, I saw this new loose blend, checked the ingredients (including the pieces of coconut visible in the ph...
Gingerbread Black Tea from Teavana

I got this tea for 16$ in an 8-ounce tin during a closing sale, so for me, the value was more of a 4.0(80 total rating if accounted for). One thing I did notice was these large popcorn pieces that add little to no flavor to the blend which were used as a filler, but this only took up about 5-10% of the container. But T...

I received this as a sample sachet in my Harney and sons order along with 2 other loose leaf samples. The aroma is like a spicy fruit, but spicy is a sort of sour way, I do not smell any caramel though. Overall, very lovely. The Flavor tastes like the aroma but has much more of a "tea" taste to it. And has hints of car...

In the roller-coaster experience that is the Numi variety pack, I've hit a deep dip again. At least, unlike some literal roller-coaster riders, I didn't retch.
For the most part, the teas I've tried so far containing turmeric have been underwhelming, at best. This one strikes me as a randomly conceived herbal vec...
Earl Grey Lavender from Revolution Tea
Style: Miscellaneous Blend – Region: Blend90 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 4/5
Feb. 25th, 2017
This tea was heavenly. It is definitely a nice bedtime tea. As usual with revolution teas, it is a bit pricey, since it is more like a loose leaf tea in a tea bag (no cheap tea bags filled with tea ground to "dirt" or "dust").

Whoa, where to start with this sublime face-slapper. Perhaps the best one-word characterization of both the smell and aroma, in a good way, is "explosive".
Because there are so many ingredients, all natural and organic, more discriminating palates than mine probably can conjure up all manner of nuances, notes, un...

Personal preferences and tastes drive all these ratings, but none more than here. Man, was this tea ever a revolting turn-off. The smell raised red flags, and the taste screamed, "never again!"
See, I like teas with strong flavors--as long as I like the flavor itself. This tea uses a decidedly, intensely smoky ve...

I agree with the sentiments below that this tea doesn't quite match its absolutely sublime scent, but also, to me very few teas do.
Regardless, this is one of my top 2 or 3 favorite herbals (another one by CS, Tension Tamer, is up there as well). This tea is very smooth, minty and creamy, natively sweet, and as a...
Peachberry Jasmine Sutra from Teavana
Style: Miscellaneous Blend – Region: Blend80 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

The peach is pretty strong, and it goes well with the jasmine (which is not overpowering as I thought it might be). I can also taste some strawberry if I search for it. It tastes generally fruity overall, an armoa which is complemented by the tea's mild sourness. It's only very slightly sweet, but also not at all bitte...

Like this tea, and the jasmine manages to come across pretty well despite being a black tea blend. Definite orange taste, overall rather a mellow and smooth drinking tea. Sweet base taste, but not as sweet as Georgia Sunshine, for example.

I tried this when it was 50% off, and so the price wasn't bad.
I wouldn't call this precisely a s'more, but it is very pleasantly close. The sweetness was present, but not overwhelming, which is great. If you sort of meditate on graham crackers, you can taste them. All in all, a balanced and well done mixture of swe...

I like this tea quite a lot. I found it quite sweet, particularly for a non-herbal blend, with a hint of something fruit-like. I don't detect vanilla over-much in the flavor, though it comes through quite a bit in the scent. I find this to be a good all-around tea for just about any occasion.

It’s a gunpowder/chestnut blend with anise and cinnamon. The scent of the leaves is really sweet and candle-worthy, but when you brew it it has a very subtle gunpowder smell with a hint of spice. I, of course, put two teaspoons of sugar in it, which really brought out the flavor (it was really bitter before). The tas...

The aroma is a great blend of earthy pu-erh, woody sweet rooibos, vanilla sweetness, and loads of chocolate. It is a blend of sweet chocolate candy and rich cocoa powder, mixing the sweet and bittersweet aspects of chocolate. I am glad that it is sweet, but not cloyingly so.

The aroma of this particular dessert tea is pretty rich, with strong notes of woody rooibos, creamy cocoa with almost a chocolate liqueur tinge to it, a bit of caramel, a bit of apple, and lastly a potent zing of oranges. It is very sweet and rich, but not too sweet, very much so the difference between a yummy slice of...
