Turmeric Lemon from Rishi Tea
Style: Herbal Tea – Region: Blend80 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5
Oct. 15th, 2012
Very pleasing!
This blend was a lot like a lemon-ginger blend with added depth from the turmeric. I liked it much better than any straight lemon-ginger herbal blend, though. I find this blend had just the right amount of each ingredient.
The flavor is tangy but without being overly sour. Mouthfeel is peppery, ...

I like this tea. I don't normally like rooibos, but I guess it blends well with vanilla. I added cream and sugar.

Aroma: Apple, cinnamon, and something else "woody." Label says it contains orange peel, carob and chicory; perhaps these give that effect. Smells of fall; a touch overbearing, but comforting.
Flavor: Weighty body, slightly slick; immediate sweetness and apple; followed by tart hibiscus and slight citrus, then woody...
Madagascar Vanilla Rooibos (Red Tea) from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Flavored Rooibos – Region: Blend73 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Oct. 6th, 2012
Aroma: sweet, floral and earthy.
Flavor: a touch on the light side; no more than 10 oz H20 per bag. Begins with the woody/herbal character of the rooibos, followed by the vanilla sweetness.
Value: Solid- not expensive, and convenient.
Overall: I love rooibos, and this is a perennial favorite.

This tea is actually really good. It's not was I was expecting, because it has a rooibos base, and I don't like rooibos, but the berry flavor overpowers it. It smells kind of like candy. I added cream and sugar, and it actually blends really well with the cream, which also surprised me.

If you enjoy the aroma of chocolate as well as the flavor, this is a delightful treat.
I think I should be using more of the husk than I used last time, but still has a nice natural sweetness. That said, I drink it straight, but trend toward very dark chocolate anyway (90%) and add raw cacao nibs to food which has ...
Blood Orange Rooibos from Epi Tea
Style: Fruit Rooibos – Region: Blend60 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5
Aug. 2nd, 2012
Blood Oranges are one of my two favorite fruits, and I was looking forward to this rooibos. Unfortunately, I don't really notice the distinction between this and a regular orange-flavored rooibos; the blood orange may be more a reference to the deep, blood-like color of the rooibos than to the flavoring.
Brewed as ...
Blueberry Bliss Rooibos Tea from Teavana
Style: Fruit Rooibos – Region: Blend90 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5

This tea is a crowd-pleaser. The blueberry flavor is strong and mixes well with the rooibos. It's sweet, slightly citrusy and tangy but is very good without sugar or as an iced tea. Now, this is pricy and is not an everyday tea, but it's a nice treat once in a while.

It's very berry-like. The one I had was mixed with a bit of licorice, which is strange but actually worked well with the berry. I think the one they sell now omits the licorice, but this seemed like good quality tea for the price.

Personally, I found this a bit underwhelming. Maybe I was expecting too much but I was expecting a nice fruit and herb tea with a lovely berry flavor and got...a hint maybe of berry. It's ok, just not great.

I was a little hesitant trying this, because I've never had chai before, but I was really happy with it! The flavor really was delicious, I especially enjoyed the taste of the vanilla, and the texture was smooth, leaving a soft aftertaste on my lips. I will definitely be having this again in the future!

Aside from this tea smelling like cough syrup, I thought it was pleasant. While the taste was sweet, it was not overwhelming, and I actually liked the fruity flavor (I'm not usually a fruity tea fan!). I'm also of course a big fan of this tea being organic. Overall I liked this tea, I just wish it smelled a little ni...

I thought the tea had a light aroma, contrast to other reviews, but I could definitely smell the lemon grass. I really enjoyed this tea. The blend of citrus, floral fruit, mint, and green rooibos is perfect for my tastes. Be aware that the main flavour profile of this tea is citrus, but the undertones of all the other ingredients are superbly balanced. A real winner here.

Usually I don't like flavored tea, so I was surprised to find that I liked this one. The fruity taste wasn't as overbearing as most flavored teas that I've had and disliked, like Tazo Passion. While I won't be drinking this again based on personal preference, I'd recommend it to someone who wants to experiments with ...

Along with China Green Tips, this has to be Tazo's other best tea in tea bags. I typically do not drink herbal teas at all, but this one is really excellent. The tea liquor itself is a warm yellow color, and the taste is complex, a little sweet, and it is very clean and refreshing. Although the tea is made with flowers...

Not what I expected; this herbal tea has a fair amount of hibiscus, giving it a deep purple color and tangy flavor. There is little lemon evident in the aroma.

It seems to have that strange aftertaste that you get with licorice or anise (or some artificial sweeteners), and it's a bit "grassy". BUT, the ginger and other ingredients make for a wonderfully-calming, stomach-soothing hot tea. When enjoyed with scones or ginger crisps, it's a very pleasant way to relax in the after...

Aroma is lavender, lavender, lavender. A touch of chamomile and something faintly citric. The label says there is "lemon balm leaf" in here. This is where this infusion really shines.

Cranberry Apple Herbal Tea from Bigelow Tea

Aroma: Sharp acidity from the cranberries, quickly followed by faint cinnamon; perhaps the apples playing a trick on my mind?

Since I usually drink straight black tea I wanted to be a little adventurous and tried Passion, but was not satisfied.
The rich red color of this tea intrigued me, but its fruity flavor was far too strong. Barely steeped for a minute, my cup was already overwhelming.
