English Breakfast from Twinings

I thought this tea uninteresting. As an English Breakfast tea, I strongly prefer Twinings Ceylon Orange Pekoe. If they labelled that tea as their English Breakfast, I'd be perfectly convinced.
This tea has a very bold flavor. It is quite bitter--more so than astringent, which I like. Produces a clear cup with a ...

I like this tea. It's strong. It doesn't seem very notable. I added cream and sugar.

I'm not crazy about the flavor of this tea. It's a little bitter, and very sensitive to brewing time. I brewed it for 2 minutes and that seems to be optimal. I usually brew tea for at least 4 minutes because I like it strong. I added cream and sugar.

This tea has a heavily citrus aroma. The tea doesn't taste very good to me, but I don't know what Lady Grey is supposed to taste like. It tastes very citrus and has a weak tea flavor. I like it enough to finish the cup, though. I added cream and sugar.

This tea was good for an average black, and I found it refreshing. The dried leaf smelled like lemon, which was a nice pick-me-up. The lemon hints didn't extend to the taste of the tea, which I also appreciated since I'm not much of a lemon tea fan! Overall I liked the tea, but I would look elsewhere if you are look...

This is a pretty decent, strong black tea bag. I don't quite like it as much as Twinings' Ceylon Orange Pekoe, but it's close, and it's bolder tasting. The teabag contains fine dust, but it produces a good flavor.
Aroma is malty and rich; a few of the wintergreen tones I so love in tea, and the finish is mostly of...
Darjeeling from Twinings

This tea is pretty good, actually. I'm surprised because I don't usually like darjeeling or Twinings that much. I often find Twinings teas to be too bitter, and darjeeling teas to be too sickly sweet/vegetal tasting, but in this tea, the qualities seem to balance each other out, and it tastes like a normal, pretty good...

To be honest this really doesn't do a lot for me and sadly it's the usual offering in cafes and teashops here if you ask for an English Breakfast. Never brews up strong enough for my tastes, and it's a fairly insipid flavour. To be honest, It won't offend but it's not going to blow your socks off and wow you either. I ...

When I first wake up, I don't have it in me to be a tea snob, carefully sniffing out the grassy hay notes in obscure Chinese teas. It's not what I crave at that hour, and the subtlety would be lost on me anyway.
So, with breakfast I usually like some kind of milky, sweetened, very strong black tea. A breakfast blend...

Brewed for about 5 minutes. Really weak chai tea, but pretty smooth flavor overall. Got one bag for free and decided to give it a shot since all my other chais ran out and was not impressed with the lack of flavor and near zero aroma. I love traditional chais. The only flavor I really taste is cinnamon, which is pretty...

This Tea at a start has a brilliant aroma, But after smelling it for a few seconds you can smell that bitter taste of this disappointing tea. This tea is not what I expected, Especially after the aroma at the start. This was not what I expected from Twinings at all! When you taste it you taste this bitter tea that inst...

Personally, I found this a bit underwhelming. Maybe I was expecting too much but I was expecting a nice fruit and herb tea with a lovely berry flavor and got...a hint maybe of berry. It's ok, just not great.

Overall, I think this is a good bagged chai if you like your chai a little spicy. It takes milk well, has a good blend of sweet and spicy and is cheap. You're still better off making your own, but this works for the lazy.

I like strong flavours. Twinings delivers a strong flavoued Earl Grey tea where the bergarmot is easily noticeable and great on the pallet. The % of bergarmot is even listed on the pack. This is the only brand that I have seen that does this. However the tea can come from different countries and you never know from whi...

I always enjoy a cup of black tea with no sweetener or cream, but I often find that it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I didn't have that problem with this tea, although it was strong. I definitely would like to add this tea to my stand-by tea list, along with Earl Grey. My only dislike is that I've heard Twining...

I love this tea. Definitely my favourite spiced, bagged tea. It reminds me of a chai but isn't as strong as some I've tried, which is perfect for me. It's cinnamony and tastes like Christmas.

The smell was barely existent but the taste is strong and filled with delightful Cinnamon. Christmas tea is really just a Chai Tea, but I love Chai so this is perfect. It’s ironic but recently, after trying some Chais, almost all dissappoint. I first found Chai years ago in teabag form and swooned. I have since tried...

A stronger, fuller flavour than cheaper brands of breakfast tea. I struggle to describe the aroma, but anyone familiar with English style tea will recognise and appreciate it. It also has a familiar taste of bitterness that will go down nicely with any tea lover.
This one deserves a proper tasting at any time of day, ...

it tastes lovely, and i enjoy it quite a bit, but i wouldn't call it "ultra" spice. the tea itself is delightful, but i was expecting it to be spicier with a name like that... it was a teensy bit disappointing.

I think this tea is best if served with a meal; it would go good with cajun dishes and indian foods; something that incorporated strong spice such as cloves or ginger. Its an inquired taste, and it smells like smoked pinewood and can be overpowering and its not something you can wake up too in the morning. Not somethin...
