A great tea to make a chai blend base. Koenga golden tip Assam second flush Invoice can give this malty flavour when brewed for 5 minutes in 212 F. Its is one of the finest offering from Assam that is mild unlike halmari strong. Though I like of strong Assam.

Not too sour. Mildly sour, also mildly sweet. Subtle, balanced. Fairly strong fruitiness but not as artificial-tasting as some of these blends. Aroma of hibiscus, apple, and berries.
I'm not crazy about these types of blends. This may have been above average for this style of herbal tea, and I did drink it and ...

This tea has a sort of vegetable-like aroma that I don't like much. It's interesting, though. It has a kind of peachy flavor. I'm not a big fan of fruity teas, so I don't like it a lot, but it's okay. I added cream and sugar.

This is an excellent chai with a very good balance of spices. It has a nice, rich flavor that lingers for a long time. I added a little milk and sugar to mine and it tastes just like a chai latte you'd get at a coffee shop (probably because it's smoother and more full-bodied than a lot of teabag chais). This is one ...

It tastes a little weak for the recommended 3 minute steep time, but a good balance of tea and spices. It smells predominantly like tea. I like to drink it with cream and sugar.

I am a big fan of green teas and tried this one today. It is a bit bland tasting, but that's kind of how green tea is in general. I thought it tasted better than it smelled. I would say this tea is about average. I would drink again, but not necessarily choose it if there were other teas to drink.

This is a very mild Assam. It is super smooth and has no bitterness whatsoever. To me it tastes like malty, liquid honey. It is super sweet, thick, and smooth. It has a sweet smell, similar to a raisin or apricot, with a slight tobacco aroma. When I taste it however, the only flavors that come through for me are the...

I liked the aroma of this tea better than the taste. It didn't have much of the 'tropical' taste to it, but it was pretty good. I had it hot but it does seem like it would be really good cold.

This tea was interesting; I brewed it for 3 minutes at 180 degrees. I found it was only good for a single infusion, which is why I settled on 3 minutes. Longer steeping made it too bitter and strong for me, and many people may like a shorter infusion.
Two Leaves and a Bud describes this as "brisk", and I think thi...

This is a delightful chai, perfect for waking up too late for breakfast tea, but still too early for afternoon tea. It is not dominated by cinnamon, which is a nice change.
It suggests steeping for 3 minutes, but the longer it steeps the richer the flavor gets (it's been in my cup for the past 30 minutes). I'm si...

I am not a big green tea drinker to begin with, so I can't say for sure if my review is based on my general opinion of green teas or this tea in particular. It is certainly a drinkable tea, and when you first taste it it has a nice, full flavor. But there's a weird, almost soap-like aftertaste that I didn't like. De...

This tea has a wonderful, rosy aroma, but I would rather smell it than drink it. It leaves a bit of a soapy aftertaste, although I like the slightly sweet flavor it has while it is on the tongue.

Aroma mostly of orange peel, overwhelming the green tea. The orange in the aroma is not particularly fruity, and has a dry quality to it. Although the tea presence is weak, I find that it blends well with the orange, but produces a tea that has an imbalanced aroma, coming across more like a cleaning solution than a t...

This tea brews a pink color unlike any other tea I've seen before. Aroma mostly of chamomile, with some other fruit presence...thankfully this tea is not overwhelmingly fruity, but is quite balanced. Tangy without being too sour...a suggestion of sweetness and no bitterness. Pleasant overall.

A rich, full-bodied tea, brews a dark orange color and is fairly bitter. The aroma is fairly complex. There are some pleasant vegetal tones too. Pleasant aftertaste too.
I really like this tea; it's one of the few white peony teas that I've tried that has been bold and full-bodied enough for me. It's almost a li...
