Wild Berry Zinger Herbal Tea from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: ?????70 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Feb. 28th, 2011
The aroma of this tea is a sweet and tangy berry scent, reminding me of summer.
The flavor wasn't as bold as I would have expected, based on other Zinger varieties. It had an immature sweetness, as though it were missing something. There was a subtle tartness to it as well.
Then my next cup was brewed with less...
Honey Vanilla Chamomile from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Chamomile Blend – Region: ?????77 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Feb. 28th, 2011
I'm not a fan of the flavor of chamomile, it just ins't for me. But, paired with honey and vanilla flavors, and it is nearly divine.
The sweetness of the two flavors really tones down the chamomile and turns it all into a relaxing cup of tea that is nicely sweet and velvety in mouthfeel.
It is great on a cool ni...
Gingerbread Spice Holiday Tea from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Herbal Tea – Region: ?????70 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Feb. 28th, 2011
I'm not usually a fan of ginger flavors, but Gingerbread Spice is nice.
The aroma really reminds me of a cold winter day, warmed by a fire. It has a "homey" smell.
The flavor isn't overly spiced, which is why I like it. It is more of a sweet ginger flavor, as in gingerbread or cookies. I can taste a little cin...
Black Cherry Berry Herb Tea from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: Blend83 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Feb. 28th, 2011
If you want a richly sweet fruit tea, pick up a box of Black Cherry Berry.
The aroma is fantastic and so is the sweet flavor. It has a tart edge to it, but not overly so.
Being herbal, it is naturally caffeine free, so drinking it in the evening is an option for me.
I've not tried it iced, though I think it...
Peach Apricot Honeybush Tea from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Flavored Honeybush – Region: ?????80 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Feb. 28th, 2011
This was one of my first honeybush tea encounters, and it was a pleasant one.
The aroma is warm and inviting, smelling sweetly and richly of apricots and peaches.
That aroma is carried on to the taste, and it has such a warming flavor. It is sweet and very delightful, with bold apricot and peach flavors.
Tropical Grapefruit Green Tea from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: ?????73 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Feb. 27th, 2011
I am a fan of grapefruits, so when I saw this tea, in my cart it went!
It has a nice aroma of green tea with subtle citrus scents. Not an overwhelming aroma.
The flavor is nice, though the green tea can be on the bitter side (though I don't mind that).
For being a hot tea, it is refreshing, and one that is ...
Moroccan Pomegranate Red Tea from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Flavored Rooibos – Region: Blend30 / 100 Aroma: 2/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5
Feb. 27th, 2011
This isn't one of the teas I'd purchase again.
I like red tea, the overall flavor being nice and sweet. However, there is something about Celestial Seasonings red tea with pomegranate that just doesn't satisfy.
It has a bad aroma, kind of like rotten fruit, which is a bad way to start.
The flavor isn't much ...
Madagascar Vanilla Rooibos (Red Tea) from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Flavored Rooibos – Region: Blend77 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Feb. 27th, 2011
Red tea has a unique and sweet flavor by itself, but combine it with vanilla and it is quite enhanced. Celestial Seasonings did a fine job with flavor balance, as the vanilla isn't too strong, but rather enhances the red tea's natural sweetness. It is a great breakfast tea (unless you desire caffeine) or as an evenin...

Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: ?????77 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Feb. 27th, 2011
Country Peach Passion is a lovely, sweet and fruity tea. The flavor of peach is genuine, and provides a lovely experience. I enjoy a cup now and again when I want a sweeter tea without any caffeine. There is no need to add any sweeteners to it, either. A lovely and full peachy flavor with every sip. A delight!

Style: Peppermint Tea – Region: United States of America80 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Feb. 18th, 2011
I drink peppermint tea to soothe my stomach. It is pleasant tasting, but I don't think I've ever drank it for pure enjoyment. It provides a strange sensation of mild cooling after you swallow the hot liquid. Even though its herbal, don't brew longer than 3-4 minutes or the peppermint oil releases a bit of bitterness. W...

I can brew this tea and just smell it to feel warm and fuzzy. The vanilla and cinnamon soften the peppermint and make the tea more sippable and lounge worthy than CS's peppermint that I drink to soothe an upset stomach. Milk and sweetener not needed, but tasty. Drinking while sitting in front of a fire or a window watc...

Feb. 18th, 2011
I don't really like coffee, but some mornings I need a kick, and this tea is enough kick for me!
I really like the rich robust flavor. It is earthy and roasted malt-like , and even has a thicker mouth feel than other teas. I haven't found a loose leaf that compares, but some mornings just pouring water is complicated ...
Nutcracker Sweet Black Tea from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: ?????67 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Feb. 17th, 2011
I think this tea smells really good in the package! I wish my whole house would smell like this! It's a basic black tea with a hint of cinnamon. Decent flavor.

This is a great fruity tea. It is very light and so I can drink several cups of it. Sometimes I use tea bags multiple times and this tea is not very good for that but otherwise it is delicious.

I really did not like this one.
Strong, artificial vanilla aroma dominates. In a sense, it really does smell like a sugar cookie, a least, before you sip it. But in order to be cookie-like, it would really need a richer body and more depth. This tea is thin and does not have the sort of richness that I expect for...
Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Herbal Tea – Region: ?????77 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5

This is a fun tea. It smells and tastes like cookies, but not as good as real cookies. It tastes very vanilla-y.

I like both apples and cinnamon. I tasted neither in this tea. This is foul, chemical tasting brew. Though "brew," with its connotation of actual tea, gives this more credit than it deserves.

Ok, it is NOT coffee. It is pretty good just as it is, but I have to confess I drink it more out of nostalgia than anything else and I keep it for my "no caffeine shall cross my lips" friends. It's a pleasant drink in the winter evenings.

The aroma is better than the flavor, but if I do 2 teabags per cup, it suits me fine. I like the lemon without it being something acid, so I can drink it without having something to eat with it. A nice, pleasant cup

Oh yeah, those buffalo just shake the earth. Definately not for the delicate crowd. This stuff is trong and tasty and wakes you right up. Good for those days when you have brain fog. I brew it for 3-5 minutes. I usually prefer loose leaf, but I gotta admit that there are days....

Honestly, this tea is nothing special. It isn't bad, but it's also not exceptionally good. It isn't very flavorful, but I am pleased that it isn't too sweet. I've found that many fruity flavored green teas are almost sickeningly sweet, but this has a more subtle raspberry flavor.

This is my favorite fruity tea from Celestial Seasonings; most of them are too sour for me. It has an intoxicating peach aroma, which might strike one as a bit artificial except that it is backed up with the depth of other herbs, giving this blend a full body and a balanced character.

Black Cherry Berry Herb Tea from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: Blend47 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5

I'm generally a fan of Celestial Seasonings fruity herbal teas, but I was disappointed by this one. I found the taste rather cloying. Reading the description given here, I think "red fruit punch" is an apt comparison. I've never liked red fruit punch, so maybe this tea tastes better to those who did.
