There's something a little off about this kind of tea. It has this sickly sweet flavor that I don't know how to describe. I added sugar and cream.

I probably would not have chosen to buy this tea on my own, but I had the opportunity to sample it. Even though this is not the sort of tea I usually like at all, I am impressed. I am especially impressed with the quality of the base tea.

This is a fruit-flavored oolong with a greener Tie Guan Yin as the base. I ...

I am not fond of Japanese green teas, I really prefer Chinese. However, this is really good. It is sort of nutty, roasty, toasty and altogether a good way to drink this sort of tea

When will blenders cut back on the clove in Christmas blends? There's always too much and it ruins what surely has the possibility of being a very nice tea, as Jeff has said

I love me a good coconut flavored beverage, from coconut coffee to piƱa coladas, and I couldn't resist trying this blend when I heard about it. And yay, it was great!

Bangkok blend is great because all of the flavors really compliment each other...I'm not even a fan of lemongrass or ginger but in this tea it all c...

Tilleul (Loose) from Harney and Sons

Style: Herbal Tea – Region: France

80 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Oct. 4th, 2010

I've only had this loose. It comes from France and is the essence of light floral woods. I like to drink just because it is so sweet and delicate and reminds me of French and Austrian gardens in the spring. Don't just save it for tummy troubles, but enjoy it as a pleasant soothing quiet spot in your day.

Peaches & Ginger (Teabag) from Harney and Sons

Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: Blend

80 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 5/5
Oct. 4th, 2010

Harney is one of my favorite companies, as their tea is always of excellent quality. This is a good example, as the tea tastes of freshripe peaches with a nicely balance ginger zing. It is lovely iced and a bit of sugar, while not necessary, brings out the peach even more.

English Breakfast from Harney and Sons

Style: English Breakfast – Region: China

90 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 5/5
May. 16th, 2010

Confusingly, the Harney & Sons website says this stuff is 100% Keemun, while the canister implies it's a blend of Keemun and other unnamed black teas. It tastes like Keemun, though, a little smoky, with that vaguely graphite-y aroma. It's pretty smooth, easy to drink without any accoutrements, and has a good, strong, b...

I have tried a number of the Harney and Sons teas and this one is by far my favorite. The smell that emanates from your cup will capture your thoughts, having you thinking about sitting in front of a fireplace on a snowy night.

The tea has a delicious flavor and is so warming from the inside out.

Darjeeling Highlands (Teabags) from Harney and Sons

Style: Darjeeling Black Tea – Region: Darjeeling, India

67 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 4/5
Dec. 7th, 2009

The teabag reads "Mellow and Light Indian Black Teas" and I agree wholeheartedly. This is very mellow, especially for a Darjeeling in a teabag...this is not the usual stuff put in teabags; it has a fair amount of first-flush character.

The aroma is complex, but could be stronger. The main downside is that this tea...

Dragon Pearl Jasmine from Harney and Sons

Style: Jasmine Pearls – Region: Fujian, China

63 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Nov. 28th, 2009

Complex aroma, less floral than most Jasmines and than I had expected. I liked this tea but I'm not sure I perceived it the same way it is described...it tasted a little bit peppery to me...the base tea reminded me somewhat of a white peony and somewhat of a pouchong. This tea is gentle if you brew it briefly but can...
