Dry, this tea smells vaguely of cocoa and molasses. It's understated, but pleasant. While brewing, the aroma is of light brown sugar, but not heavy. I picked this up in a Middle Eastern grocery near Detroit, MI. I bought a 250g pouch of tea that turned out to be double-bagged with an outer mylar pouch and a thin plastic bag inside. I found this tea in the bulk section of a health food store. I've never tried Frontier tea, mostly because I don't trust bulk jars. The jar lids were tight and the teas smelled fresh, though, so I bought an ounce each of several to try. Based on this first sample, I'll likely be buying more.
