the liquor is smooth. not bitter.
has some sweetness to the aroma. roasty, indeed. it is earthy, and i guess it's reminiscent of fall leaves. i didn't really detect mushroom. it really reminds me of roasted peanuts.

aroma: sweet, peach, apricot

flavor: rich, well-balanced, floral and fruity notes.

this is one of my overall favorite and most frequently consumed teas. it's a staple of my collection, and i regularly offer it to guests.

if you're buying from teagschwendner, be sure to pick some of this up.

very powerful in both flavor and aroma. a very smokey smell. many people i've offered it to told me it smells like a camp fire. i definitely smell the terpenes (chemicals from the pine wood).

i am a big fan of this tea, but it is definitely not for everyone. ...
