This tea is interesting. It tastes a little watery, but it has a kind of strong flavor. I'm not quite sure how to describe it. I added cream and sugar.

There is a certain peculiar flavor that black teas from Makaibari estate have, in my experience. Every one I've tried has been on the lighter side, so I can see the watery descriptor, but there's a certain bite that comes through.

I wouldn't think of this as a tea that would be best with cream and sugar, but I'm glad you still enjoyed it that way!

I always add cream and sugar unless I think the cream is going to curdle.
