Prep: 212F, 5min, 2tsp, 16oz

Aroma: The aroma of the dry tea had a lot more going on that the liquid. In the mug, I’m really only getting pure black tea (which is fine but this is designed as a flavored tea). 6/10

Flavor: This isn’t what I’d call overly flavorful. That said, there is a nice black tea base with a little caramel. I’m not getting much apple, cinnamon or candy apple flavorings. 5/10

Body: This may be the best part of the experience as the body is quite solid. 7/10

Value: This isn’t a pricey tea by any means; however, you’re not really getting anything but a black tea with mild caramel notes. 5/10

Overall: I’ll have no problem drinking the ounces that I have. That said, this guy won’t be on the reorder list. Considering 90 percent of adagios teas are on that list, I should be thankful for a less than homerun on occasion. 5/10

It smells fantastic, which gets you very excited to take a sip...but the flavor just isn't quite there at all. It tasted very smooth but not very strongly, and it was mostly sweet and a little bitter. I drank it straight, and tried it both hot and cold (it's pretty good on ice.)

I took to using a little more than I needed to strengthen the flavor, which was tastier, but it did decrease the value further. The first cup didn't have it but when I resteeped it it tasted kind of artificial, too. It's still pretty affordable if you order in bulk, but expensive if you don't, and I honestly don't need an entire pound of this stuff. I don't regret buying some but probably won't do it again.

This tea has a nice aroma, but the flavor is a little weak. The cinnamon doesn't blend very well with the apple flavor. It's a little too fruity for my taste, but I don't usually like fruit flavored teas. I like the caramel flavor, though. I added cream and sugar.
