I like this tea! Oh yes, I like it! The smell is wonderful, truly wonderful. I'm so glad I didn't have to cross far across these lands to acquire this tea. It truly is a treasure, simply. A treasure, indeed... Give it a try - or the very least, subject yourself to it's PLEASANT AROMA. The cinnamon is NOT overwhelming, I'm telling you!

I loathe orange & spice teas - so i may not be the best person to review this and I am shocked that I even had more than a few sips of this. Blarg! Smells great - but the taste is like drinking perfume. Not for me.

smell is strong in the orange and cinnamon department, reminds me of fall....taste is less than expected...the boldness is a little light (5 minute steep), the flavor is good and as expected but I wish it came out a little stronger

With Autumn coming up in the next few weeks, I thought I'd give my new collection of cinnamon spice teas a try. Twinings Orange & Cinnamon Spice was the first.
So, I wasn't all that impressed. I'll give them credit though... it did certainly make me think of fall, with a smell and texture reminding me of the cough syrup I got a yearly basis during 'cold season' in school -- I kid not. I also agree that the heavy orange flavoring tasted pretty artificial.
Twinings scored a few extra points from me because I really did appreciate the light hints of cinnamon. I actually think I would have preferred more cinnamon over their orange flavoring... mmm. The orange smell was a bit too sour for my nose, if that is possible!
I also forgot to mention that I didn't let the tea steep for an entire 3-5 minutes as suggested, because I could sense that it was going to be too strong for my taste. I'm assuming this would have packed quite a punch if I let it go that far. I only steeped it for 1 minute.

This tea has a strong aroma of orange, but the aroma seems artificial...a little like orange-flavored popsickles, orange starburst, Sunny D, or any number of artificial orange-flavored things.
I found this tea also left a tingly sensation on my palate...similar to blends including clove. I didn't taste much clove in it and I'm not sure if it contains any or not.
Flavor is sour, too sour for my tastes.
I could not notice the rooibos in the flavor...only possible in the reddish color of the brewed cup.
I would not drink this again. Orange spice herbal blends are not my favorite types of herbal tea, but even there, I think this one tasted too artificial to me.
