I love almond teas and I am always looking for new ones to try, this one did not disappoint. At first the aroma of the leaves had me a bit worried, it was almost overpowering and I thought the tea would be bitter from almond extract (a common problem with almond teas) but upon brewing I discovered that the tea was not at all bitter.
The flavor is subtly sweet with a nice mild black tea taste. It blends the almond really well with the tea and makes for a perfect dessert tea.
