This is an UNFLAVORED 100 % Natural Green Tea, that provides good aroma and with proper steeping, excellent flavor that does not require sweeter, although enhanced with a little pure Stevia.
Green Tea from Tea King of China (Starway)
Style: Green Tea – Region: Zhejiang, China60 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

Another cheap green tea from this company, less impressive than the others but still pleasant and drinkable. Dry leaf smells mildly like a low-quality chun mee or mid-quality gunpowder tea. The leaf looks a bit intermediate between the two; it's dusty gray-green, and has a mixture of more narrow and wider twisted pie...

The aroma is a blend of cedar, smoke, roasted tea, and autumn leaves. Brewing the leaves brings out rich earthy notes along with the smoke and cedar. The liquid sans leaves is sweet like fresh hay and roasted nuts.
The taste richly roasted and faintly smoked that fades to a sweet aftertaste. This tea tastes like au...
Lung Ching (Lungching) Green Tea from Foojoy
Style: Dragon Well (Long Jing) – Region: China73 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5

The first inexpensive dragon well or long jing green tea that I've tried that I thought worth drinking. A relatively low grade of dragon well, but recognizable as its style, and pleasant.
Dry leaf looks quite broken, honestly doesn't look the best quality, but it has a rich and pleasing aroma. The aroma resembles ...
Organic Fukamushi Sencha from Den's Tea
Style: Sencha – Region: Shizuoka, Japan87 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 4/5

I have been drinking more organic teas lately, as they are becoming more available. This deep steamed Fukamushi Sencha from Den's Tea has been a great find with excellent flavor and aroma. It is a bit pricy but worthwhile as the steaming releases nuances that brew up very quickly for several steeps.
Overall light v...

The aroma is sweet like honey with a touch of baking bread and flowers, also there are notes of lettuce and kelp. Steeping the tea brings out notes of minerals, orange blossoms and vegetation.
The taste is fruity, like plums, and fades to vegetal with a finish of cherry sweetness. Yummy

I like the scent of this tea, both in the tea bag and from the tea itself. Without any sweetener added (my preferred method), the taste was a bit too tanniny, I think. The flavor wasn't exactly bitter, but it wasn't particularly pleasant.
When I added a small bit of sugar to the second steep, this notably improved t...

I agree with Alex, I thought this was one of the better bagged Senchas I've had so far. I really enjoyed the fresh grassy smell and the spinachy taste. I brewed it for a short time, so its taste wasn't too overpowering.

The aroma is exactly what you expect a good Sencha to smell like: fresh grass, springtime, and a touch of citrus. The aroma of the brewed tea is like a spring field with sweet notes of cane sugar and hay.
The taste is initially sweet and grassy, evoking spring. There is also a hint of citrus in the aftertaste. Quit...

A 3 minute or so steep was good for me with this tea, which brewed to an amber color. It reminds me of teas I drank and enjoyed while living in Japan (though this style is actually from China). The smell, pleasantly "grassy", is muted until your face is in the cup, but very nice. It feels, for me, like a tea of nostalg...

This tea was surprisingly decent.
After being repeatedly underwhelmed with the teas I've tried from Choice Organic Teas, I wasn't expecting much, but this one turned out to be a surprise. My expectations were very low--not only because of this brand but because in general, I've had bad experiences with Japanese gre...

Definitely among the best senchas (if not the best) that I've ever had from a tea bag!
Flavor is mild and a little brothy. Aroma is slightly toasty, slightly seaweedy.
Easily brews two infusions...the first two cups are outstanding for a tea bag, although they have less of that pleasant sweet grass quality that ...

I think the bar is set pretty low when it comes to green teas in tea bags, but this one greatly exceeds my expectations for its price.
Not very picky about brewing--I used boiling water and it tastes fine. The 3 minute steeping is just about right. I wouldn't go too much longer because there is some bitterness and...

Bought at TJ Maxx; $3 for a 3.5 ounce tin--which seems cheap for loose-leaf tea, but is actually relatively pricey for gunpowder. Dry leaf smells wonderfully fresh though: herbaceous and only faintly smoky.
Steeped for for over 4 minutes with near-boiling water. Brews up a rich golden color. No unpleasant harshne...

The aroma of this tea is mild with notes of artichoke, citrus, and grapes. The brewed tea is more like vegetation than vegetal and the liquid is very mild with delicate vegetation notes.
The taste is nothing spectacular, it is not a bad tea but it does not make me jump for joy. Mixing mild vegetal, bitter greens, a...

I like gunpowder tea a lot, but I find it is often a low-quality tea, often harsh and lacking complexity. This was a higher-quality example, although it still wasn't among my favorite of Chinese green teas in this price range. I found it hard to brew to satisfaction, but very good when I did.
The dry leaf of this ...

The aroma is delightfully loamy and mildly roasted, it reminds me of the forest at the end of autumn. Brewing the tea makes the roasted aroma and loamy aroma more intense and it brings in notes of umami as well.

I will start by saying right off, I am not a seasoned green tea drinker. I am learning. I found this at a local super market. Price was right, I felt, so I went for it. I will admit, I thought the packaging was 'cute', but the bag inside did rip easily as another reviewer noted, and was hard to keep the tea in. I ...

This tea is amazing! By far the best of this variety that I have ever tried. From the moment you open the package and see the tender curls, you are greeted by a wonderful aroma that is herbaceous, nutty, lightly smoky with a hint of citrus. This aroma persists through brewing and matches the mellow flavor.
