Zen Filterbags from Tazo Tea

Not exactly my cup of tea (lol, puns) but for a flavored herbal tea it was pretty decent, based on other ones I've tried. On the plus side it was not very astringent at all, but unfortunately it tasted oddly soap-like and weird to me.

First impressions, The smell of raspberry is very welcoming. However, the taste is also full of raspberry that it’s overpowering the subtle hints of green tea. The bitterness of the tea base and the raspberry flavour don’t go well together...

This tea tends to be light on flavor, but for that, it is good. It is caffeinated but, even in that, this tea is relatively mild. I would not recommend adding anything to this tea as it will be easily overpowered. But, if you're looking for something with a nice flavor and nice aroma, and just overall pleasant, this...

A couple of bags of this product wandered into my fingers, then into my suitcase (of their own free will—don't you believe me?) from a conference hotel's catered-breakfast table. It would have taken at least two more to yield a robustly flavored cup. The taste was best described as pleasant but distant, akin to the...

A blend of gunpowder tea and dried mint. It tastes the same as the mint tea I made before this, using gunpowder tea and mint. It's easier because the ingredients are already together, but I don't consider that an advantage. I loved all the steps of making mint tea before.
No matter. This seems to contain a lot of mi...

Thank you to my roommate for letting me try this! Every now and then I try a tea that I don't expect to like, both to expose myself to diifferent tastes, and because I'm open to being surprised. This was one such tea, and in this case, I was not surprised...even though it was okay for what it was, I didn't like it mu...

I served this tea at my latest women's wellness retreat and it was a huge hit. I am not normally a sencha fan however the slightly fruity undertone helped boost the flavor for me. It is a slight flavor too. I like to taste my tea and not be overwhelmed by fruits or flavors. The passionfruit is the perfect compliment, n...

Round-bodied, light and docile. This is, by all means, a pivotal tea that evokes pre-capitalist notions of pleasure.

Not my favorite in terms of taste although it smells great. It could be the mix of Darjeeling with green tea as I am not a huge Darjeeling fan. Or it could be the champagne essence. Either way it had too much of a metallic taste for me. I've heard that the muscatel grape can cause that effect in some people.

This tea doesn't have much of a smell or a taste. It is rather like drinking plain hot water. It isn't bad, it isn't good. It pretty much just isn't anything.

Meh. Not impressed. You are better off brewing your favorite green tea and squeezing fresh lemon into it. I do not care for lemon in my green tea - unless it is iced. That said, Bigelow is inexpensive (and in my office - provided for free - in bags and K-cups) and accessible. An average, inoffensive green tea.

This is an excellent floral-flavored green tea. The flavors blend beautifully and smoothly. For my second cup, I added a bit of honey, which managed to enhance the flavor without dominating it. Wonderfully sweet!

Overall a pleasant flavor tea, bright for an afternoon pick-me-up. However I will echo the "lemonade" flavor previously mentioned and this is probably from the "natural flavor" in this tea. My opinion is that quality tea, blends, and herbs speak for themselves without need of such flavor enhancers.

This tea is pretty middle of the road. It is pretty weak unless you really give it a long steep. Even then the green tea is pretty modest in flavor but the punchy ginger comes out with a spicy ginger bite finish that I really enjoy after a meal. I do however try to go with other ginger teas as I try to stick to organic...

Upon seeing this new tea for sale in the Victoria Murchie's store, there was no question I would get it and like it. Murchie's consistently delivers good to great tea, and blueberry is one of my favorite flavors; therefore, I bought a 50-bag box straight up.
The risk was rewarded. The green tea shines through an...
Ginger Peach Green Tea from Stash Tea

Inexpensive - around $3 - $4 for a box of 25 tea bags. Frut and peachy fragrance that brews up quickly. Not nearly as good as Republic of Teas version - but very inexpensive and good when I can't get Republic's. My 11 year old loves fruuity teas (Peach and Pineapple especially). Some ginger notes - but not harsh. ...

I'm a dude. This tea is marketed to the ladies in a blatant, pandering, almost cartoonishly patronizing way with its pinkish packaging, "book of tea" self-characterization, cursive script, and use of phrases like, "mystify your senses," "reminisce romantic, unforgettable memories", and "fantasize many more years of lo...

For a genmaicha (which I enjoy in spring/summer) I really love this one - probably my favorite roasted-toasted brown-rice note-filled tea. Even good over ice - and unsweetened for a true grain-filled experience. I actually love this one - but if you are not a Genmaicha lover - you may not want to try this one. More ...

Uber-sweet - and a bit cloying for me - but my kid loves it for whatever reason and the packaging (which makes it pricey) is cute and giftable. With Tea Forte - it's all about the packaging and sometimes the actual teas are "just OK". A few are good. You have to try and see which you prefer. Expensive, but giftable...

Super cheap and - if you can get it (try H-Mart or other Asian grocers) it's a good bagged Genmaicha option. Refreshing in summer with a roasty-toasty aroma. Grassy notes - and also a sweetness (I do not get a "Honey Smacks" note).
Can even be OK over ice.

Roasty-Toasty but not worth the price - there are better (and also worse - see my other Gen Mai Cha reviews) versions available. If you are a Gen mai lover (Roasted rice/grain notes) this is a decent choice but no holy grail. Very nice in summer.

Just OK - and I did not get the "Honey Smacks" note - but there is an odd sweetness to this rice/grain tea. I generally love Gen Mai Cha - but 2 leaves version is just fair. Fortunately it is not too expensive - and I was able to try it at a local coffee/tea shop so now I know not to buy a whole box. Not bad - but t...

Even though I like the flavor of coconut -- a lot -- I admit a great deal of skepticism upon learning of the new existence of this tea. Coconut in tea? The idea struck me as one of these "Be different just to be different" deals, destined to go the way of others such as 7Up Gold or Crystal Pepsi in sodas. Maybe it is...
