Christmas Morning Black Tea from Stash Tea
Style: Miscellaneous Blend – Region: Blend73 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Dec. 3rd, 2012
This tea is delightful, though I am still confused about how it is Christmas morning themed! But they are certainly right about the morning part as this is a perfect morning tea.
The aroma is very lovely with hints of green and jasmine and certainly assam. The taste is mild and goes well with a bit of sugar and cre...
Vanilla Green from Adagio Teas
Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: China73 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Dec. 2nd, 2012
At first I was worried because all I could smell was vanilla when I opened the tea, no smell of tea! After steeping that changed, the vanilla mixed with the green smell of the tea. The tea tastes wonderful! Slightly sweet with mild vanilla and bright green. Definitely a favorite!

Style: Oolong Tea – Region: Taiwan / Formosa73 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Dec. 2nd, 2012
The aroma of this tea is sweet with notes of loam, tobacco, raisins, old flowers (think orchids that are not rotten but are certainly on their last legs, smells heady and a little dead) and honey. There is a nice finishing note of smoke which gives this tea a real autumnal feel to it.
Tasting the tea, in a way it is...
Yunnan Gold (Golden Yunnan) from Adagio Teas
Style: Yunnan Gold – Region: Yunnan, China73 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Dec. 2nd, 2012
The aroma is very light and floral and the taste matches! I find the taste to be a mix of floral and citrus with a very mild tea flavor. Very subtle and enjoyable!
I only got a sample if this tea but definitely plan on getting more from Agagio as it might be my favorite of their teas
Toasted Sesame from Adagio Teas
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon43 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 4/5
Dec. 2nd, 2012
The aroma of the leaves and the tea itself are very bland, no toasted sesame at all just a vague burnt smell.
Sadly I found this tea disappointing, it tastes like a decent black tea but there is not sesame taste except for a vague burnt taste. I was hoping for a bold sesame taste but did not get that.
Almond Oolong from Adagio Teas
Style: Flavored Oolong – Region: Taiwan / Formosa53 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Dec. 2nd, 2012
The initial aroma of the leaves is unmistakably almond, sadly I do not smell any Oolong at first and that made me a bit hesitant. After brewing the smell of almond subsides and the oolong shows itself. The taste is very mild, light almond and Oolong flavors for an overall subtle tea.

Style: Genmaicha – Region: ?????80 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 5/5
Dec. 2nd, 2012
This was the first Genmai Cha that I ever had years ago, so it has a real nostalgia value even though I have had better it is still a favorite. The aroma is really mild and slightly nutty and you get more rice than tea. The tea is also really mild but the longer you steep the tea the more the flavor bursts out, luckily...

Style: Flavored Pu-erh – Region: Blend70 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 2/5
Nov. 4th, 2012
The aroma of this teabag is mostly spicy cardamon, there is a slight earthy undertone, but for the most part we have lots of cardamon. Which is good if you are a big fan of cardamon, because it is not a subtle spice.
Tasting this tea reminds me more of a strong Black tea rather than a Pu-erh, it is very bright and a...
Decaf Pumpkin Spice Tea from Stash Tea
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: ?????70 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Nov. 2nd, 2012
This tea smells quite delightful, very spicy and evocative of autumn and pumpkin pie! The blend of spices is really lovely and you can smell them all.
The flavor on the other hand is good, but tastes nothing like pumpkins. I can taste the spices and they are delicious but I was disappointed by the lack of pumpkin f...
Organic Nighty Night® from Traditional Medicinals
Style: Wellness Tea / Medicinal Tea – Region: Blend70 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Oct. 30th, 2012
I am usually not a huge fan of herbal teas, their medicinal quality and usefulness aside I never drink them for pleasure...because usually they taste kinda gross. This tea was a pleasant surprise!
The taste is very mild and slightly sweet, not at all bitter or medicinal tasting. It had a very floral flavor and the ...
Emperor's Puerh - Black Tea from Numi Organic Tea
Style: Pu-erh Tea – Region: Yunnan, China77 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Oct. 25th, 2012
Pu-erh has a very distinct aroma, and some may find it off-putting, but I love it. The aroma reminds me of a rich, earthy, smell, almost similar to a pile of autumn leaves. As to be expected from a fermented tea...it smells like it has been fermented! I find this Pu-erh really brings out the earthy aroma that a lot of b...

Style: Hojicha – Region: Japan80 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5
Oct. 23rd, 2012
The aroma of the tea vaguely reminds me of a lower grade Oolong and is very pleasant. It is not an overpowering aroma and has a tendency to fade pretty quickly.
The taste is great, Hoji-cha might be my favorite tea from Yamamotoyama Teas. The subtle smokiness with the rich taste of green is an excellent blend of fla...
Sweet & Spicy Caffeine Free from Good Earth Teas
Style: Flavored Rooibos – Region: Blend57 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Oct. 23rd, 2012
The aroma of this tea is very strongly cinnamon which, if you enjoy that smell is a good thing. Sadly I do not detect any of the other spices or ingredient listed (sad, since I think a nice hint of orange as promised would have been great)
The flavor is also primarily cinnamon and I can maybe just barely taste the ...
