↑About Two Leaves and a Bud
Two Leaves and A Bud, is a tea company located in Basalt, CO. The company focuses on selling organic teas, although not all of its teas are organic. It was formerly a member of the Trust Organic Small Farmers Initiative, an organization committed to sustainability, fair trade, and small farming operations.
Two Leaves Tea focuses on selling tea in pyramid sachets, although the company also sells loose-leaf tea through its website. It carries a modest variety of teas which are distributed fairly well among different types and regions. Their teas are available both by mail order directly through their website, which ships internationally, and in some coffee shops and stores (including Whole Foods). In 2012, Two Leaves launched a second brand, Paisley Tea Co, which was then renamed Paisley Label Tea, which focuses on British-style teas in traditional paper tea bags, all of which are certified organic and fair trade.

I'm kind of surprised the reviews are not better. I absolutely love this tea. The price is high $8 for 15 bags but I still buy it and consider it a luxury. For a commercially produced, ready-to-go tea bag, I think it's a great choice.

Fortunately it is not too expensive - and I was able to try it at a local coffee/tea shop so now I know not to buy a whole box. Not bad - but t...
Read Full ReviewI hate Peppermint tea - but this one seems to be a very nice,. smooth one. Smells pure and minty - cool and fresh. All organic. Simple. Good for after dinner. Might be good over ice as well.
Read Full ReviewMy nose needs improvement, I realize, but I smelled cinnamon as the dominant spice. Can cloves, which my fellow reviewers have noticed playing such a dominant role in this tea, mimic cinnamon to such a great degree? I don't know. Whether cinnamon or clove, one note drowns out all others. We live in a world where good c...
Read Full ReviewWow, well, either chamomile is growing on me, or I've finally learned how to brew it. This one has a very strong (but not bitter) flavor. I heated up the water for one minute in a microwave before adding the sachet, and (based on the reviews below) kept the steep time shorter than normal. Once it looked sufficiently go...
