Mojito Marmalade from Tea Forte
Style: Flavored Rooibos – Region: Blend70 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 5/5
Nov. 8th, 2012
This is a good tea. It’s the perfect blend of orange and mint. Tea Forte did well striking the balance without this tasting artificial.
Here’s the thing: mojitos are my favorite mixed drink. I would LOVE to try this tea with lime rather than orange. Although I enjoy oranges and mint on their own, I don’t ador...
Citron Green from Adagio Teas
Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: China77 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Nov. 7th, 2012
This tea impressed me, and I'll say it is not only the only citrus-flavored green tea that I have really enjoyed, but it is also my favorite flavored tea from Adagio yet!
The dry leaf has a strong aroma of lime and citronella, but upon brewing, the citrus aroma is more subdued.
The aroma has a pleasing, grassy an...
Peppermint Rooibos from Rishi Tea
Style: Flavored Rooibos – Region: Blend73 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Nov. 5th, 2012
This blend is called "peppermint rooibos", but it contains a significant amount of bergamot oil, which imparts a noticeable Earl-Greyish quality to it.
The peppermint is creamy, suggesting vanilla or peppermint chocolate.
Warming quality overall, which is unusual given how peppermint usually makes a blend very fr...

Style: Flavored Pu-erh – Region: Blend70 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 2/5
Nov. 4th, 2012
The aroma of this teabag is mostly spicy cardamon, there is a slight earthy undertone, but for the most part we have lots of cardamon. Which is good if you are a big fan of cardamon, because it is not a subtle spice.
Tasting this tea reminds me more of a strong Black tea rather than a Pu-erh, it is very bright and a...
Decaf Pumpkin Spice Tea from Stash Tea
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: ?????70 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Nov. 2nd, 2012
This tea smells quite delightful, very spicy and evocative of autumn and pumpkin pie! The blend of spices is really lovely and you can smell them all.
The flavor on the other hand is good, but tastes nothing like pumpkins. I can taste the spices and they are delicious but I was disappointed by the lack of pumpkin f...
Candy Cane Lane from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Miscellaneous Blend – Region: Blend73 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Nov. 1st, 2012
This tea smells like a dream, but sadly the taste does not match. I think I am sensitive to the flavor of decaf tea though, and that is why it isn't quite as good to me as its box of candy canes scent. The vanilla adds a nice dimension, as does the cinnamon, without actually really changing the flavor.

Style: Chai / Spiced Tea – Region: ?????40 / 100 Aroma: 2/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Oct. 31st, 2012
Brewed for about 5 minutes. Really weak chai tea, but pretty smooth flavor overall. Got one bag for free and decided to give it a shot since all my other chais ran out and was not impressed with the lack of flavor and near zero aroma. I love traditional chais. The only flavor I really taste is cinnamon, which is pretty...

While this is not my favorite selection of the F&M line. It's a fairly good quality cup. R&M'S Royal Blend, Celebration, and Queen Anne are fabulously unforgetable teas.

Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: Blend77 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 5/5
Oct. 30th, 2012
A peculiar blend of a light black tea with saffron, a spice not normally associated with tea. I liked it, but this is not a tea for everyone.
Brews a golden cup with a noticeable saffron aroma. Light, but a bit edgy. Unusually bitter for such a light-bodied tea--much more sharp tasting than even the more bitter D...
Rooibos Vanilla (Vanilla Rooibos) from Adagio Teas
Style: Flavored Rooibos – Region: ?????60 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Oct. 30th, 2012
I normally like straight rooibos and am less into flavored rooibos, but I think Rooibos and Vanilla blend very well.
This particular blend has a pleasing oatmeal-like quality. Rich and creamy. Full-bodied.
I drank it straight but I can imagine this would be good with milk or cream as well.
Organic Nighty Night® from Traditional Medicinals
Style: Wellness Tea / Medicinal Tea – Region: Blend70 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Oct. 30th, 2012
I am usually not a huge fan of herbal teas, their medicinal quality and usefulness aside I never drink them for pleasure...because usually they taste kinda gross. This tea was a pleasant surprise!
The taste is very mild and slightly sweet, not at all bitter or medicinal tasting. It had a very floral flavor and the ...
Pumpkin Spice from Eastern Shore Tea
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: China63 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 5/5
Oct. 28th, 2012
This tea has an incredibly spicy aroma. I identified the cinnamon and pumpkin notes, but was unable to identify the other spices. (It turns out cloves were the only other spice in this blend.) As with many flavored teas, I could smell the spices/flavorings but not the tea base itself.
When I purchased this tea, I ...

Style: Pu-erh Tea – Region: Yunnan, China77 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Oct. 25th, 2012
Pu-erh has a very distinct aroma, and some may find it off-putting, but I love it. The aroma reminds me of a rich, earthy, smell, almost similar to a pile of autumn leaves. As to be expected from a fermented tea...it smells like it has been fermented! I find this Pu-erh really brings out the earthy aroma that a lot of b...

Style: Hojicha – Region: Japan80 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5
Oct. 23rd, 2012
The aroma of the tea vaguely reminds me of a lower grade Oolong and is very pleasant. It is not an overpowering aroma and has a tendency to fade pretty quickly.
The taste is great, Hoji-cha might be my favorite tea from Yamamotoyama Teas. The subtle smokiness with the rich taste of green is an excellent blend of fla...
Sweet & Spicy Caffeine Free from Good Earth Teas
Style: Flavored Rooibos – Region: Blend57 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Oct. 23rd, 2012
The aroma of this tea is very strongly cinnamon which, if you enjoy that smell is a good thing. Sadly I do not detect any of the other spices or ingredient listed (sad, since I think a nice hint of orange as promised would have been great)
The flavor is also primarily cinnamon and I can maybe just barely taste the ...
Foxtrot from Adagio Teas
Style: Chamomile Blend – Region: Blend43 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 2/5
Oct. 21st, 2012
This tea smells like chamomile, which I don't particularly like. The flavor is kind of bland. It doesn't have any strong dominant flavor. I don't like it much. I added cream and sugar.

I drink 4 to 5 cups of tea daily. Classic Tetley is a preferred staple in my diet. I occasionally enjoy flavoured teas, but Tetley is a decent cup and at the best price. Money saved looks better on my mortgage! Indeed simple, but dearly missed when I don't have access to it.

I'm not sure how I feel about this tea, or how to describe it. It has a raisin-like flavor that kind of turns me off, but it's interesting if I don't think about it. The aroma reminds me of something, but I can't remember what it is. I added cream and sugar.

So after learning that lemon can fight against cold sores (which I get on occasion) I thought I'd give lemon tea a try.. and I actually liked this one!
This has definitely become one of my basic go-to teas, alongside my usual Earl Grey... I really liked that the lemon flavoring was strong, but not overwhelming! I'...
Rose Alongi from SerendipiTea
Style: Rose Green Tea – Region: China93 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 5/5
Oct. 18th, 2012
SerendipiTea’s Rose Alongi is a blend of organic Chinese green tea and rose petals. The tea leaves on their own smell grassy. After it’s brewed, the tea smells like fresh roses with a definite (and pleasant) undercurrent of green tea.
This is a smooth and slightly sweet tea. It’s light-bodied and leaves a wond...
