Green Tea with Coconut & Ginger from Harney and Sons
Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: Blend70 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
May. 20th, 2011
Found this green tea to be unfortunately bitter... definitely have to be careful with how long you leave the teabag in. That said it has a lovely aroma, and a strong flavor. Overall pleasant.

Royal Wedding Tea from Harney and Sons
Style: Flavored White Tea – Region: Blend70 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5
May. 20th, 2011
Dopey name aside, this tea sounded fantastic and I couldn't resist ordering it. It smells fantastic, the almond and vanilla are really strong and wonderful. But unfortunately I found it to be a bit weak taste-wise, as with most artificially flavored white teas... perhaps best served with milk and sugar to bring it out....

Dragon Pearl Jasmine from Harney and Sons
Style: Jasmine Pearls – Region: Fujian, China90 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5

I was pleasantly surprised by this Jasmine. Typically I find that Jasmine teas smell fantastic but brew super bitter and tasteless. Dragon Pearl Jasmine, on the other hand, was both aromatic and flavorful without being overpowering. A solid choice for Jasmine.

Decaf Lotus Blossom Green (Lotus) from Tazo Tea
Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: ?????57 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 4/5
Dec. 4th, 2010
It's hard to find a good decaf Green Tea, and Tazo's Lotus is a surprisingly satisfactory choice. Sweet, mellow green tea that manages to pull off a sort of pleasant lemon-y taste without being sharp.
Not exciting by any means but hits the spot

Tokio from Lupicia
Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: ?????63 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5
Oct. 20th, 2010
Tokio is a frustrating tea because it has this really fantastic, delicate fruity aroma, but the actual flavor is kind of heavy handed... all around "berry" flavor that way over powers the green tea.
I'm not a fan of berry/fruit tea in general so I'm definitely biased. However, I would recommend it to any fruit tea lov...

Organic Bangkok (Green Tea with Coconut, Ginger and Vanilla) from Harney and Sons
Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: Blend87 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 5/5
Oct. 13th, 2010
I love me a good coconut flavored beverage, from coconut coffee to piƱa coladas, and I couldn't resist trying this blend when I heard about it. And yay, it was great!
Bangkok blend is great because all of the flavors really compliment each other...I'm not even a fan of lemongrass or ginger but in this tea it all c...

Sakurambo (Cherry) from Lupicia
Style: Fruit Black Tea – Region: Blend77 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Sep. 29th, 2010
This tea has a fantastic aroma! A truly lovely sweet (but not sickly sweet!) cherry smell. And unlike most fruit teas, which I find tend to taste thin and bitter, the flavor actually holds up! It's pretty over powering actually, but in a good way. If you're a fan of fruit teas, definitely take the time to check this on...

French Vanilla Black Tea from Bigelow Tea
Style: Vanilla Black Tea – Region: ?????43 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5
Sep. 20th, 2010
Bigelow teas always sound fantastic in theory but taste like hot water... they just never live up to their potential (which I guess, to be fair, is not really a surprise considering Bigelow is the type of tea you tend to drink because the coffee is instant and the other alternative in the wicker basket is some kind of ...

Genmaicha from ITO EN
Style: Genmaicha – Region: ?????60 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 5/5
Sep. 18th, 2010
I sort of consider ITO EN to be the most acceptable of the lower-end tea brands...it's certainly not a crappy brand or anything but I just mean you can find it in any corner store nowadays (premade or boxed!) and while it's not exciting, it hits the spot. I usually love Genmaicha but theirs tends to have a bitter after...

Decaf Muscat from Lupicia
Style: Fruit Black Tea – Region: Blend70 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5

Muscat wine flavored tea... very strange yet intriguing! A fantastic smelling tea, however the flavor itself is a little lacking- not bad by any means but I found the novelty sort of wears off half way through the cup. I got this as a tea sample when purchasing other teas from Lupicia and while I enjoyed the experience...

China Jasmine Green Tea from Foojoy
Style: Jasmine Tea – Region: China40 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5

OK, it's been a long time since I've had this tea but I remember it being really disappointing and bitter. Foojoy strikes me as the cheapo brand of chinese teas.. hit or miss.

Cache-Cache from Lupicia
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: Blend53 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5
Feb. 25th, 2010
So I'm already biased because I went into this tea knowing I wouldn't be a fan... plus I'm kind of reviewing this weeks after I had it so my memory is a bit foggy. But it just didn't stand out to me... it is an interesting tea that seems to taste different with every sip- but the flavors are mostly citrus and fruit whi...

Joyeux Noel from Lupicia

Incredibly strange tea, but I loved every moment of it! It tastes just like roasted chestnuts, and not even in the fake syrupy way- it's a clean flavour with no sour aftertaste.
The smell however is different, almost unpleasant to me- it's sort of sickly sweet? Especially if you just smell the tea bag. But thankfully...

Zen Filterbags from Tazo Tea
Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: ?????57 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 2/5
Sep. 23rd, 2009
The first time I had this tea I absolutely loved it. It's a great minty yet subtle fruity mix that smelled fantastic and tasted pretty good.
Yet, over the years this tea hasn't really held up for me... it's pretty expensive for one, it's tough to brew it without it going bitter, and I just eventually grew tired of th...

Vanilla Caramel Black Tea from Bigelow Tea
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: ?????47 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 2/5
Sep. 22nd, 2009
This tea sounded so fantastic to me I just had to try it, and predictably it was a bit of a let down. (To be fair- I might have been expecting it to taste more like vanilla caramel coffee...)
It smells and sounds fantastic, but the taste is lack luster and forgettable. There are much better flavored teas out there to...
