About The Tea Gallery

The Tea Gallery was a tea shop focusing on Chinese tea culture, and was founded in 2000 by the husband and wife team Michael and Winnie. The Tea Gallery was located in downtown Manhattan. Their tea room was open by appointment only, and hosted tea tasting events.

The Tea Gallery sold loose teas through their website, but they have been closed for some time, and Google Maps marks their tea room as permanently closed. Although the website indicates a temporary closure, there have been no posts on the company's blog or social media accounts since 2011.
