A Pyramid Sachet or Tea Bag, Filled With Green Tea
Here a pyramid sachet, a high-quality tea bag filled with larger pieces of leaf than are typically found in most teabags, is being taken out of a paper cup. The bag is probably made of nylon, which would mean it is not compostable.
I see these sachets as a step up from the low-end tea bags, but this is still not my preferred way of enjoying tea (the gold standard would be loose-leaf tea served in a ceramic mug or teacup), but it is unfortunately the most common way tea is served across much of America.
