This photo shows Ann Bently, a NRCS Soil Conservation Technician, and the president of the American Classic Tea Company, discussing conservation issues at the Charleston Tea Plantation in South Carolina.

During some time periods, this plantation has been the only commercial tea plantation in the continental U.S. Other operations have started up in Washington State and elsewhere, but their production and the availability of their products has been sporadic.
