This photo shows the fruit of the Guarana plant, growing in Ariquemes, Rondônia, a region of Brazil located far inland in the Amazon rainforest.

Guarana is one of the few plants other than tea, coffee, and the caffeinated hollies (Yerba Mate, Guayusa, and Yaupon) that contains caffeine.
